Well I took her out today maiden voyage all is well I still to rebuild the king pins. But with the newer Dana 70 with the steeper gears I can get up to 70mph it's a hand full thought.

Fixed running boards, fixed overheat, and been driving daily, built a back bumper, hauled some rough cut mahogany home this week to make a bed for ol blue. Also took my first night run in the rain the other night.  Lights worked and so did the wipers....

   I bought this at auction Sunday. It's a 51 B-3-D. I started bid at $100 and a guy behind me went to $500. I let him buy it. As I turned to talk to him, he was saying to his wife that now he has to get rid of the tractor part. We split the cost, I drove it a mile home, disconnected the Bale Handler and loaded it on his flatbed with my forklift. And my 47 WD-21 in the background.

Found this 1950 Dodge May 19th 2019.....sitting behind a barn in my local area since 1979....I'm going to see if I can get it running.

1952 B3B...pretty darn good shape for 67 years...I found the turn signal lights and have wired them just not installed as of yet.

I just noticed that my truck made it into a Gooogle aerial when it was parked in San Francisco recently....

1937 Dodge 1 ton. Was sold new as a firetruck and has the tag on the bed to prove it. Has anyone ever seen a 1 ton 37-39 Dodge truck with a bed like this before? I am guessing it was custom-built to fit the pumper installed in it/

The truck now sits on a 72 Ford F-250 4X4 chassis,and still has the 390 FE V-8 engine and drive train. The engine has a Comp Cams cam,aluminum intake,and 4brl Holley carb.

 

What it desperately needs is PS and PB. Was coming back home from the building supply one day with the bed loaded full of siding when I was remodeling my house,and clipping right along at about 60 MPH on a two lane road,and some idiot pulled out right in front of me and sped up to about 45 MPH. I came within inchs of running into him car.

 

Planning on putting or having a shop putting electric PS in it this summer,as well as PB. Probably going to sell it after that. Need the money for other projects.

I just had my 1951 Dodge delivered a couple of days ago. She is in overall very good shape, as she is a Canadian build DG1(B3B) that spent her whole life in eastern Canada. The gentleman I bought it from had her for 35 years and he bought it of the the original owners estate, so I am the third owner.

 

She had a few changes: Ford 9" rear end, radials and 12 volt. Also the last owner also converted the 3 speed to a top loader for a floor shift. I'm happy with everything i've found so far as I'm checking everything out before her safety inspection next week.

My 1953 B4C finally put together enough to make it to my first show (and drive more than 2 blocks from the shop). The plan is to hook the exhaust back up to the stacks. For now, it's scabbed together to get it just behind the cab. I was test driving it with an incomplete floor, so I was tired of the noise, heat, and fumes being piped directly into the cab. Test drives with no windshield, no hood, and no doors do generate some odd looks from people. The cop just smiled and waved though.

I've always considered trucks as a "him".....but maybe to stay with today's ethos we need to ask the truck how she/he/it/him/her/sher/ze/hir........self identifies  ?

Just "the Truck" so far. The " Dodge" refers to our '38 Dodge sedan

Just bought this WC-12. Named her Kittenfish. Can't wait to get her on the road!! First up is locking hubs. She's either got a 218 or 230 Flathead 6 and at some point will be getting dual carbs & headers. THEN a Lycock Model J Overdrive will be added. Just looking to do whatever I can to help her breath and work easier.... Would love to hear from any other WC 1/2 ton 4X4 owners who have done any of these mods!!

41'. They're just about all 41' when you're talking any of the WC with a model # less than 50. Those are the 1/2 ton models. Above 50 is the 42'-45 3/4 ton & 1 1/2 ton models.
