randroid Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 Gents, I thought I'd had a stroke a few weeks ago when I lost the use of my right leg and to this end I started cleaning up a few loose ends, even going so far as to PM a few members here about disposing of Pigiron. After spending a day at the VA Medical Center in Denver yesterday it turns out that I didn't have a stroke; I have a brain tumor and will be readmitted today for an "extended stay". I'm not as frightened about it as perhaps I should be but, on the other hand, a spare thought from one or two of you folks might not hurt. Please include a thought for Lady Lynn, too, because although she's a cancer survivor she is also a realist and is already coming unglued. See you when I get back. -Randy Quote

Disconnection from this forum to heal is a personal choice, but I will say that keeping life as normal as possible and routine is good for the soul and keeps one sane thru these ordeals.
