  1. This may or may not help you..
  2. There is a load of mopars in the Martin Scorsese movie "the Irishman". Whether you like the movie or not, the cars are fun.
  3. Some old bastard mixed concrete in the back of my truck. This hunk was pulled out between the bed and cab.
  4. This may or may not help... I purchased and installed a 6 volt positive ground alternator from Quality Power this weekend. The size of the bottom mounting tabe on the alternator required a adjustable bracket. https://images.app.goo.gl/YRXZG7WNhV64sPxg8 The original top bracket didn't work either, so I used a bracket from Mr Gasket. https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/mr-gasket-universal-alternator-generator-arm-9851/6121551-p?c3ch=PLA&c3nid=6121551-P&adtype=pla&product_channel=online&store_code=&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyquz3omR5wIV5JJbCh3-igoqEAQYASABEgKo0_D_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds I had to cut and drill a hole to mount. I had to remove fan blade bolts to make enough space behind water pump pulley to remove the bolt which holds the top bracket. The bolt sits inside the water jacket, so there will be a loss of coolant. The wiring is the easiest part. Removed the original wires from generator to regulator. Ran a single wire from alternator to the battery terminal on the regulator. I ran out of day light before I could properly test.
  5. Well then...let the adventure begin!
  6. It depends on what you're shooting for. If you want a trailer queen or a survivor that you can enjoy. My truck looked like that when I started..and it still does ? Seriously though, I've done the minimum to get it road Worthy and enjoy driving it and i get a lot of thumbs up. Someday I may do the body work and paint, but for now I'm just going to enjoy what I have. Plus, they're a ton of fun to work on.
  7. The original clutch fork boot has a metal frame. This frame has tabes which poke through the leather boot and are then bent around the bell hole to keep it in place. https://images.app.goo.gl/rFPcBjciRdBT1dWP7
  8. Try Terrill Machine.
  9. Great game. Dominant performance. Great clock management. I hope we play GB next week, but we'll see!
  10. How about Horace or John? ?
  11. Gorgeous and chilly looking

  17. A friendly suggestion.. Your engine builder put a nice mark on your dampner for top dead center. Please replace the mark after painting the engine. You'll kick yourself if you forget..I did ?
  18. Worth the trip just to meet George
  19. You have to put your ear to the phone. It was a pleasant experience for me. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Parts ship the next day
  20. About 5hrs of work and I have it down to the frame and motor on the stand. That sucker is heavy!
  21. I thought I would share my new project. I bought this Triumph a few years ago. I've enjoyed riding it, but I find that it's time for a rebuild. The motor is rather tired and brakes and shocks are unsafe. So the teardown begins.
  22. I bought all new lifters, valves and guides from Terrill Machine. I would purchase as much of what you need from Terrill. He is the least expensive. I also found the Egge, while a good company, doesn't always have everything on stock, so they source from other companies. They are also slow to get the parts on the mail.
  23. Of the 5 flatheads that I own, I have only found one with a brass distribution tube. The brass one came out clean as a whistle, while the galvanized ones were a bear to pull and we're heavily pitted.
  24. I purchased everything from Terrill Machine and Egge. I had my cam ground by Egge.
