  1. You are correct. My mistake. I saw that engine in Napa CA a few years ago. This was the note describing the engine
  2. Rest in Peace Don. You will be missed here on the forum.
  3. No snow here in Zihuatanejo Mexico. I will keep you posted ?. Heading home this week though ?
  4. How about an 18 cylinder B29 engine. The owner advertised that for $100 you could see it run. I'm sure your neighbors would love that. ?
  5. This may or may not help
  6. I focused my attention briefly this weekend on my vacuum wipers. I replaced my intake with a duel carb aluminum one and I've lost my vacuum port. I'm wondering if I could use one of the two carbs as a vacuum source. The front one is used for the distributor advance. I'm wondering if I could use the rear carb for the wiper vacuum. Thoughts?
  7. Have you guys read this book? A great read. It's amazes me what those young men were able to endure. An early veterans day thank you to all who have served.
  8. Terraplane/ Plymouth hybrid?
  9. Have you looked at Horkey's truck parts website? I see they sell low side bed skins. Not sure if that would interest you. Maybe the can help you with dimensions.

    exhaust

The old school exhaust shops are still out there. Keep looking.
  11. I ditto the above suggestions. I used the axle out of an '89 Jeep Cherokee. The only other suggestion I would make is to consider whether you will keep the original parking brake or use the parking brake from the new axle. Some fabrication issues depending. Best upgrade other than disc brakes and duel MC. IMHO
  12. Ok. That makes sense. Back to the drawing board. There is something simple I must be missing.

  14. Had to rebuild my generator because the rear bushing was worn out. While doing so, I pulled the distributor to gap the points. I'm having the worst time trying to figure out why it won't fire up. I know it's the distributor because I used the distributor from my truck and got it to run. What I discovered this afternoon while putting the distributor back in, the drive shaft of the distributor drew a spark when it touched the block. The coil wire was attached to the distributor. I'm guessing that might be my problem and that it's not insulated. So when the points gap is open, im not creating a spark. What do you think?
  15. Can you elaborate on how you installed the module and from whom you purchased it from? I'm wondering too if it will work on a Motorola 802? Thank you.
  16. As desirable as those cars are, you could clean it up, get it running and make a tidy profit. I would prefer that you buy it and restore it so I can follow along on your build thread. ?
  17. My wife would say that is a perfect spot for them ??
  18. If you can't find a manifold. I would be happy to donate one to your build. I have several. Just PM me if you're interested.
  19. It's been two years since you first applied the penetrol. Are you still happy with the way it looks? How often have you had to reapply?
  20. Currently touring Portugal in this rental. 2019 Citroen. They haven't gotten too much bigger over the years.

If you are using your phone camera. I have found a free app which will reduce your photo size. Search for photo/picture resizer. I now have no problems uploading photos.
  22. A little pricey for this one, but an example
  23. Along with the motors manual.I would recommend the B1 B2 shop manual and the parts book ( for the blow up schematics). I think you can find both on eBay.
