  1. The problem is the crank to flywheel bolt pattern.
  2. I disconnected it from the rear and wired it to the frame.
  3. You better be at the BBQ next year Paul, or Tim and the boys will come down and set you straight. ?
  4. You could try BrentB3B and his Boss-lady. He might help you. He's a shaddie SOB, but he can probably give you a hand. Just keep hold of your wallet and your live stock and you'll be ok. ?. He lives up there somewhere in the rain and the trees.
  5. I recently used the U-Haul tow dolly without any problems. I did disconnect the drive shaft just to be on the safe side. I pulled a 47 Dodge sedan.
  6. On the top of a YouTube video is an arrow. Taping on it will give you the option of saving the link and pasteing or sending it via email or text.
  7. Beer darts are for sissys. Time to step up!
  8. Merle made this great video. Could help.
  9. I just adjusted my valves. I did it while engine was hot and running. It’s nice to hear the sound of the tappets as you are adjusting them. I would recommend using longer wrenches and wear long sleeves and tight leather gloves so you can grip the wrench and feeler gauges. I also separated then feeler gauges from the group, which made it much easier to handle. Just make sure you keep your gloves on. I made a hasty mistake and paid for it!
  10. Yes, I like the grill guard on the international
  11. I like Ann Margret on a Triumph
  12. This photo may help. Looks like it should be replaced while you have it exposed.
  13. I used rustyhope on my 1950 B2B I will use same kit on my ‘47 sedan very happy. Best upgrade by far.
  14. I finally got it down to the exhaust shop this week. The guy did a great job. Nice and clean. Now I can hear that I need to check the valve clearances. I also noticed that I have a stuck rear brake. It was smoking by the time I got it drug home. Oh well. I’m much closer to getting it on the road.
  15. Thanks Tim. Look forward to seeing you at the bbq in April!
  16. Man! That looks like a really clean, rust free car. I look forward to watching your progress. I recommend that you take tons of pictures of your disassembly. Take photos of everything. You will thank yourself later. Bag and tag everything you pull off.
  17. Thank you for the photo and explaination. Man! I would have never found that little hook. It’s more like a little bump. I had to run my finger along the bottom to find it. Thanks again!
  18. Does anyone have a photo or can explain where the hood latch retention spring mounts to the inner fender? Thank you
  19. Not sure if this has been posted before, but pretty fun read https://apple.news/AlNvm0UJKQmioODal0LMznA
  20. Hi

I’m going to be in Billings at the end of April for my nephew’s graduation. Do you ever open your shop to visitors? I would love to see your projects.

    Cheers

  21. Or. You could change your oil and buy a new filter. They usually come with a new gasket.
  22. I’ve personally seen a dashknob deal go down. I think one of them was wearing a cowboy hat. ?
  23. Maybe DC can better confirm your question. But, yes those springs look like they are the proper springs used to mount the throw out sleeve to the clutch fork.
  24. I believe Dartgame is right. Your tip looks damaged. I don’t have a picture of the tip, but here is a picture of how mine sits. Maybe someone can chime in with the proper hole diameter.
