Just for those special moments with your cuddly cat in the garage??

Here's Ollie, a Norwegian Forest Cat, and an A-1 mouser, on daily rodent patrol / work inspection.  He's the reason I don't have much of a mouse problem.  Friendly as they come, just doesn't like to be picked up and held for more than 10 seconds or so...or else...

Julius at work...

Him helping with one of the woodpeckers destroying my house rafter tails!

Also caught 2 gophers and one mouse this week.

And yes that was him growling at me.

I wish I had  pretty kitty to show off..

I did but the Bobcats evidently liked em more than me.

My shop kitty let US move in!  She's an ex-feral the PO of the property kept a mouser.  Needless to say, I've spoiled her rotten.  She keeps the trucks inside and outside of the shop clear of vermin and keeps me company when I need a break.  In great shape for being 16.

I appreciate that gophers have their place in the food chain and I am therefore reluctant to use poison to control them.In southern Alberta they are called, "Richardson Ground Squirrels" and they do present a problem for farmers and ranchers.I have an acre on an industrial lot where I built a shop.Because the property offers limited access to some natural predators,(Coyote,Fox and Badgers),with having a perimeter chain link fence, and as hawks and feral cats weren't quite up to the job, I resorted to using  traps. The first year I trapped fifty of the cute little buggers on my property.Since then the feral cats and hawks have been doing a pretty good job.

your gopher problem is similar to my squirrel problem....they are a destructive beast to yard, house and cars...I also don't believe in poisons for these critters....I devised a few traps that also protected the bird population....

The trick is, once you trap one do not let it back into the wild.

But you LOVE gophers!

My 6 pound cat will not leave the house willingly but does try to intimidate the 55 pound Labrador puppy.  She is slowly(remember, a Lab so slow describes her intellect) learning to not chase the cat.

It’s Julie’s cat but I tried to name him “B3” (yeah, that didn’t go over like I hoped ?)

So that's where you have been all this time..

Cat shopping?!

Brent..c'mon...I'm sure you wanted the cat for just yourself...

Maybe "Bee-uh-three" would be acceptable to Julie?
