  1. In the bottom of the speedometer. There are 2 small circle lights one red for high beam and one green for both turn signals.
  2. Not true on driveshaft unless he has a short wheelbase p22(which from the pic he doesn't).
  3. Well we are getting record setting snow here in MN. Around 9"
  4. By the weather strip.
  5. No picture but the lock is held in with a set screw that is accessed from a small hole just below the latch
  6. If I'm remembering correctly someone on the forum painted their fenders on the car by leaving the welt off and putting a couple washers between fender and body. That way it could still be bolted tight but you can make sure to get paint right to the edge. Then remove bolts a few at a time and insert the welting
  7. I believe we've seen at least one other case of a new oil pump being defective and seizing up. Hopefully you don't have damage at the cam.
  8. Yup and I did a 40 plymouth pickup that had been sitting in the junkyard for decades! We pulled the drums, gutted the brakes, put the drums and wheels back on, and then put some used oil in the diff. Towed it home on a dolly 100 miles no prob
  9. The right one with the ribs is what I've always seen.
  10. The napa filters are made by wix so you can also try a 51010 if you have a store that sells wix
  11. Simple thing first- is it full of oil? The od has a separate fill from the front 1/2 of the transmission
  12. Small trucks have the same mounts you do. They are between the brackets that hang from the frame and mount vertically to the bell housing
  13. Also try the usuals which besides roberts is Andy bernbaum steele rubber and clesters
  14. From the looks of the body it was stored indoors so if the engine was a good runner then you should be able to bring it back.
  15. Wagon is now sporting a new mini starter aka a 94 dakota starter. Bolts right in but the wiring connections move and are a little harder to get to.
  16. Plymouth started plastic in 49
  17. I run a Napa 1010 there is also a 1071 and I think a 1056 but don't quote me on that third one. I run 10w40 in all my stuff but they have rebuilt engines.
  18. Greg you're off a year. His car is a p19 but if original it will have a p20 engine. All 50s got p20 even if they were the shorter wb p19s. Still the same 218 as p23
  19. These are dad's former 50s. It's very common to see the ornament with the plastic insert upside-down.
  20. But can we still tell him his hood ornament is upside-down???
  21. We had quite the harvest this year too. We canned many pints of banana peppers and quarts of pickles. Plus a mix of tomatoes and marinara. It was interesting learning how to can food.
  22. I've got about 20k miles on my rebuild and they've never been touched. I think the guy that set them knew what he was doing. My 48 was a new engine to him! I keep thinking someday I should check them...
  23. That's right some dodges have studs so no pilot hole. I drilled pilot holes in some aftermarket rims without too much difficulty and got them to fit
  24. Bob anything else you're missing? It's in pretty poor shape but there is one of those in the junkyard here
