RobertKB Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 96%. Messed up HenryJ and Willys. Quote
Mark D Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 You got 100% (48 right out of 48). The average score is 73% the Willys Aero Wing vs. Henry J was a guess on my part, we don't see many of those round these parts. Quote
Richie Hodge Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 I got 48 out of 48, but guessed on the Willys, I guess it helps to be an antique like myself ! Quote
T120 Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 (edited) ..Good quiz-my memory is intact.I remember well the Henry J...Matter of fact I also remember a custom car magazine in the mid fifties, where a clever fella had taken a modified 51 Henry J grille-installed in an English Ford Consul and with some other mods ended up with a good looking small shoebox Ford Edited November 18, 2011 by Ralph D25cpe Quote
Don Jordan Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 96% I had to guess on some but most were from when I was in high school. Missed 2. It's funny because kids today wouldn't even know the names of some of those cars. I told the kids in my class that I had a Packard and they said wow - who makes it? Quote
PatS.... Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 It's funny because kids today wouldn't even know the names of some of those cars. I can't tell a new car without reading the emblem or nametag...all look like eggs to me:( I can still tell the trucks though;) Quote
Dodgeb4ya Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 I'm not too smart like some of you-I got an honest 90%. No willy's or kaisers around here Quote
deathbound Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 85%...(41 out of 48)-not too bad considering they were all before my time. Quote
yourpc48 Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 I got a 75%. Not bad but I had not seen very many of a few of these cars. Quote
JohnTeee Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 Funny, my dad sent this to me, too. Guess I'm showing my age, my score sucked! I'm too young to remember a lot of these cars (was not a big motorhead in my youth). Cheers! John Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted November 19, 2011 Report Posted November 19, 2011 That Willys will throw many a folks a loop...there was one of these cars at the Perry swap meet on the sales lot side of the event..it is not a large car by any means.. Quote
Oldguy48 Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 98% for me. Thanks for posting the quiz. That was fun. Quote
JohnS48plm Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 I had 98%, I mixed up a buick and olds. JohnS Quote
Uncle-Pekka Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 "You got 4 out of 4. Average is 3.6 out of 4 (1606996 players). You got 100% (48 right out of 48). The average score is 73%" the groups of four photos made this way too easy. taking a single picture at a time would have made for instance the hood ornaments much more challenging to identify, even if I've seen all these so many times. Generally speaking, it is easy to remember things you are genuinely interested. Vice versa; try to remember things you are not interested at all... impossible. Quote
Jim Saraceno Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 73% or the average... which is pretty much many of my grades in high school (or lower) Quote
Big_John Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 96%, got the years mixed up on the Mercurys. Quote
