Todd B Posted October 31, 2015 Report Posted October 31, 2015 Makes me wonder if he picked the date. I'm just saying......... Quote
48Dodger Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 (edited) Yep......I'm on the 11th of June...Merle is the 18th...... Personally I had lil say in the matter.....BUT.....she is considering the MN 50's deal.... Not as a honeymoon, rather to shut my a55 up about hanging out with the boyz...haha. BTW, she she thinks Mark is great. 48D Note: Ok Mark, Ed, Todd, Jerimiah....I say we crash Merle's wedding, whoop it up, drink all the Mountian Dew, "borrow" Merle's truck....drive to Indy, kidnap Don C., crash it in front of Tim Adams house in Georgia, throw him in the back, drive the remains of the truck back to Wisconsin, pick up Merle, head to "Back to the 50's", win a trophy, drive it back to Wisconsin, explain how we have no idea how Merle got a "I love old Chevy trucks" tattoo'd on his back and call it a day! Whose in????? Edited November 10, 2015 by 48dodger 4 Quote
Don Coatney Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Sounds good. I suspect my wife might pay the ransom in advance to get rid of me for a week or so. 1 Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Tim...I don't ride in trucks....admit it, you guys are whipped already..letting them pick the JUNE bride dates....I am sure if I listen intently on those days I could probably hear a faint snip snip in the distance......whatever happened to the barefoot and pregnant scenario...worked back in the day....(you're here aren't you?) again, congrats to you both... 2 Quote

BobT-47P15 Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Merle......as usual, I am kinda late getting in on the story......but - congratulations to you two......many happy years. And, we have discovered that grandkids and great grandkids can be pretty fun people. 1 Quote
Dan Hiebert Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Just remember - You shouldn't ridicule your wife's choices; You're one of them. Or two secrets to a long marriage; one is two simple words - "Yes Dear", and the other; When "discussing" something with your wife, you can either be right, or you can be happy. I prefer to be happy. That way I get to play outside or in the garage more often. 1 Quote
pflaming Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Neil, we've got you by three years. We married in 1960. Merle, we wish you well. Marriages can last! We support each other, disagree quietly, have the same active faith, enjoy the little things, and don't get overly excited about paint! 1 Quote
DonaldSmith Posted November 20, 2015 Report Posted November 20, 2015 Our extended family has lost some wives and mothers lately. Enjoy and help each other as long as you have. 1 Quote
