Now that the new year is approaching, anyone out there got a project resolution..like where do you want to be with the project in the new year? Upgrades they want to accomplish. Me, I just want to be able to spend more time in the shop..I have truly enjoyed my Christmas vacation and the time I have spent working on my coupe..I resolve to spend more ME time out in the shop..

I would say that shim behind the door locking plate was a good one to do! Easy fast and it worked. Car door shuts really nice and it didn't take a wad of money to do. Other than that I would like to win a big lotto and have my car completly repainted and dents removed.

My hope is to get all the trim re-installed, and the interior completed in my

P15. She's mechanically completed and street legal now, but I hope to finish up the cosmetics in time for the Ocean City Cruise in Maryland. I had the car registered for the event this past May, but just didn't have enough time to get things done. Maybe this coming year I can cruise the boardwalk with her.:D

Gents,

The only resolution I've ever been able to keep is one in which I swore I'd not make any more resolutions. I made that resolution once and have been true to it for over forty years.

..Still planning on building a large garage...I would like to have something like Dennis Hemmingway has.:) Lord knows I could easily fill it.;)

Finish my daughter's Falcon so I can take it back to her and give myself room in the garage for the Terraplane to keep the Dodge company. At the same time tending to some little tidbits on the D24 during the winter, then drive it more than I have been while I fiddle with the T-plane. In short; more old-car time :)

I want to finish my mild P-15 street rod by Valentine's Day. My wife and I started dating in it many years ago and she wants it back on the road so she can drive it.

To stop being a freeloading sponge and send in some $$'s to keep this great website going......this could take awhile, but I'll "get 'er done" sometime this year!!

I met Mark and his coupe, nice. He gave me a ride in his '50 sedan, nice too. Go for it Mark and thanks for the hospitality. I'm back in the garage again, front spindles are off and new ones on order.

A capital idea!

I just donated $50 via PayPal — adding up all my forum friends, the visits I make here in a year, and the invaluable tips and information I get from both the main site and forum, that works out to maybe a nickle each... bargain of the century in my books.

Others so inclined should go to http://www.merc583.addr.com/mopar/p15pages/P15D24_board_library.html and click on the PayPal link at the bottom of the page.

I have 11 minutes to get bundled up and out to the garage to be the first Edmontonian to go Model T motoring in 2012.

Happy New Year to All!

12:41 AM: And here is the photo to prove it (and yes, I know that photos don't prove anything anymore). The car is a mostly 1912 Ford Model T jalopy that has been in the family for over 30 years starting with my late Dad and now my son. I courted my wife in this car 26 years ago but she married me anyway.
