  1. You can add corn starch to water or oil base paints to knock the sheen down. Mix some in, filter out the lumps and spray or roll it on. Will have to experiment with the correct amount to get the desired sheen and add a little water/thinner as it does make the paint thicker.
  2. Tempered and laminated glass start out as float glass, both would be cut to the correct shape, slumped over a form to curve them, then two pieces would be laminated together with a sheet of clear vinyl between them or a single piece would be heat treated to temper it.

  4. I had louvers punched in my hood this summer and it really made a difference with the heat soak issue. I positioned them so they don't interfere with the cowl vent.

  17. What phone do you have and does it use minutes when operating the speedo? Could a phone be used only for the gps speedo and not have service? My speedo works in my truck but is way off and I want a reliable backup.

  21. When you look down the carb and press the throttle do you see a spray of fuel? That would show the accelerator pump is working.
  22. My B4B has the short side bed and using the search function and viewing some PDFs I am unable to find the correct dimensions for the bed boards. I currently have a sheet of plywood in the bed. It is 76" long and should have 8 boards. Two outer boards 7" wide and six inner boards 5 1/4" wide? Anyone have the factory numbers? Thanks

  24. Would it make any difference to run the pcv output to the air cleaner? Seems like that eliminates any negative effect on engine vacuum.
