  1. Sorry for the late post. Here’s some pictures. It looks like they are just half inch grade 8 bolts
  2. I’ll upload them tomorrow, but after some research, it looks like a different axle set up then stock.
  3. For what is forth, my electronic fuel pump on my B3B cuts out in third gear if my fuel level is too low.
  4. Not sure honestly. Picked it up cheap a few months ago and the seller didn’t have much history.
  5. Thanks for the responses. The studs are threaded into the hub, but for some reason they won’t completely tighten and loose up when you tighten the lug nuts. Two of them are stripped so I might have to heli coil.
  6. Needs some help please. Had a leaking rear drum on a 51 B3B. Removed the drum to see that the wheel studs loosen up, backed into the internal brake line and broke it off. Simple fix, but now I cannot get the studs tight enough, they they keep backing up into the internal drum. I also can’t seem to find an easy way to get the wheel studs out. Doesn’t have enough room. what am I missing?
  7. I should pick them up next week so I’ll post on the quality. Not many shops in the area unfortunately. Was one of those friend of a friend kinda ordeal. It is what it is at this point. Had a pretty quick turnaround which is why I pulled the trigger. Anxious to get the truck on the road this summer, one of the last pieces besides a leaky radiator.
  8. Got a quote for all 5 pieces. Around $550. Seemed like a decent price.
  9. Been looking through the forums and can’t quite find what I am looking for so I’ll post a new thread. Apologies if this has been covered. Running into gas pedal issues on a 51 B3. The actual pedal works and fits fine, however the rod that goes through the firewall to the carb linkage seems too short. My foot basically touches floor in order to get 3/4 throttle. it seems that the rod isn’t log enough or something is out of wack. I don’t see any adjustments on the linkage to help improve this. anyone run into this issue?
  10. Thanks for the comments. Ill reach out to some companies for replacements. It was pretty straightforward getting the glass out.
  11. Anyone ever refinish cloudy, dirty double pane glass? Rear window off a B3. Tried to clean it up the best I can but have bubbles and what looks like dirt in between the panes. Worth saving?
  12. Just wanted to take a moment to write some appreciation I have had for this forum. I am new to this forum, but not to many and I have to say, it is quite refreshing to see people helping each other is a positive, supporting way. Every other forum I have been on from present day cars, motorcycle, to everyday home repair has it’s share of negativity. Although I haven’t been a member of this forum for that long, I have been treated with the upmost respect. Individual taking the time out of their busy days to help me through my issues. As I begin my journey repairing my 51 B3, I now know I have a great community to bounce ideas off of and share my progress with. Thanks again, Nick
