  1. How about some photos?
  2. The button on top of the starter is also adjustable by screwing it in or out as to when it completes the circuit.
  3. I put a pcv valve on mine and it seems to be drawing a lot of oil also but the engine has over 60k on it and uses a little oil. Getting a 230 ready to put in it and will try the pcv valve on it.
  4. Here is a pdf of the heat sheild. http://dodgepilothouseclub.org/know/heat_shield/shield.pdf
  5. I had mine repaired at a shop that rebuilds starters/ alternators/ generators.
  6. That happened to me with a starter that was maybe a year past a rebuild, returned it and was told a faulty bendix drive was the culprit. They replaced it and has been fine for 2 plus years.
  7. Steele products are usually right on the money as far as fit and quality, if the glass is made off shore that could be a problem.
  8. I didn't realize they offered that as an option, is the ceiling available as a single piece also?
  9. The Laycock j type is another option, here is a link.
  10. Here is some good reference material on heater cores. http://www.carquestprofessionals.com/catalogs/heating_cooling/htr_heater_core_app_guide.pdf

  12. A new Champion radiator about $225 on theBay.
  13. The artist renderings for all the big three ads of that era were strategicly "modified" to give that long, sleek, spacious look to prospective buyers.
  14. I've used ATF and acetone, not sure why you would mix an oil base product and a water base one. Brake fluid has more in common with antifreeze.
  15. I'm in the process of rebuilding a 230 and the cost of machining and parts will be about half that. Check with George Asche in your neck of the woods.
  16. .?
  17. Do you know the rear end ratio and tire size?
  18. Do you have an overdrive transmission in the Meadowbrook and what is the rpm at 70mph?
  19. Here is a link to the site with the correct tools, patterns and colors to redo your dash to its original finish. http://woodgraining.com/
  20. The radiator I have is the Champion CC4749. I had to fab mounts for it and remove the down angle on the inlet. IIRC the one they recommend for the B4B has the filler in the center of the top tank (wrong). Runs fine in the summertime here. About $225 on epay. I can have rad hose # if you need.
  21. The glass sediment bowl on the fuel pump can be full and you can be out of gas.
  22. That ring looks the same as those on the B series trucks.
  23. When I had mine off it was hung out of the way on the wall.
  24. This link should help, the mount codes start on page 64. http://www.monroe.com/downloads/install-instructions-guides/MonroeMountingLengthSpecifications.pdf
  25. Someone on here had a thread on one he was building, haven't seen anything in a while.
