  1. I think it's a 39 with sealed beam conversions
  2. I'd also want to do a few for quality check. If something happened to be wrong with any what are they going to say if it's a year later
  3. Yes he helped me set the seat in. He's the one that named it turkey truck.
  4. Do you ever use the speed wrenches? I have a few of them that I don't think I've ever used
  5. It's been a long time but I feel like my coupe has a separate small piece between the headliner and the panel
  6. Haha I already bought the buckets too! I'm still liking these better. Will have to fab up a mount for the shoulder belts and seat mounts
  7. Might have changed my mind on seats. I was originally going to go buckets with integrated belts but this bench fits sooooo good.
  8. You guys are going to suck up all the parts before I get out there again!
  9. Yes Dad and I did that with my 48. I am running my original spider gears with the rest of the 3.73. just check it before you install the rear end... Unlike me
  10. I have a 3.73 with overdrive in my 48 coupe. Works fine for me but I only have 15" tires. If your tires are taller the 3.73 might be a little much.
  11. I can see how you'd call it a stud as it's similar to a wheel stud. I believe the engines with bigger holes used standard nuts and bolts for flywheel installation. I believe the great don c used shoulder bolts in his swap
  12. That is ugly! And attempt to go door to door for video or a witness? Around here they barely investigate hit and runs so you'd have to cover it yourself. Luckily it looks like the fender will be fixable- I know they aren't easily replaced.
  13. Someone sent me this way back. Not sure anymore who drew it(I see there is a sig but I can't make it out on my phone) and if it was drawn for me or just forwarded.
  14. Keep an eye on that one- great looking truck with what appears to be the factory flatbed
  15. Maybe that's why they got rid of the ribs in the center of the dash? Or maybe the W series guys have better memories
  16. Yup looks like 39-47
  17. Not sure what's left of it now but a couple summers ago french lake had a great looking 40 4 door
  18. Welcome to the forum and MN!
  19. Why a 42 wc vs a 41 or 46-47?
  20. 39-40 truck have the same grill. 40 has additional stainless -3 bars on each side horizontally at the top of the grill. If stock 39 has bulb and reflector headlights and 40 has sealed beam with little parking lights on the top.
  21. Did a power wagon really come with a 3spd??
  22. No such thing as a 49 plymouth truck unless someone customized a sedan. Engine serial # is a 42 plymouth car and should be a 218 and have a reg 4 hole crank pattern. This is a lot of mismatched parts
  23. I always hear that too however 1 gauge is original equipment spec and is working on my car and truck. This does seem to be a bigger is better situation though
  24. Did the plymouth engine come with the hydrive? If so you're good. If not you still might have issues. You also need to supply engine oil to the hydrive
  25. The biggest things you guys will possibly find is crankshaft flange not having enough holes for the fluid drive and flywheel spacing going from 218 to 230
