  1. Also are those recalled harbor freight stands or did you get them replaced?
  2. Interesting about the carb. Everyone I've ever done was soaked in carb cleaner and then rinsed well in a bucket of hot water. Then sprayed dry with compressed air. So was it the length of time or the simple green that wrecked yours?
  3. I miss watching that man! One of the greats
  4. Ive done it twice in MN. Both weren't completely easy but like anything else just gotta jump through the proper hoops. I do have 2 more I need to do....
  5. Funny I sent that link to a few other members a couple weeks ago. Looks like a very solid purchase.
  6. Someone told me he recently came out of retirement and started making cartoons again
  7. I think you missed the restore part of the goal with that purchase! Looks like a great condition truck that needs little. I know they are kinda love/hate but personally the 53 is my favorite pilot house
  8. Believe they are talking trans gear sets not diff
  9. This is to force outside air through the heater in colder weather vs the cowl vent for cooling during hotter weather
  10. Still glad I was one of their stops on that trip!
  11. This is why I've been learning how to put bushings in them to tighten up that throttle shaft. Now if you want to send that 2bbl intake north a little.....
  12. I would guess 37and38 cabs are the same and a glovebox for either would fit. Can't confirm for sure though. I wonder if a call to DCM would solve that?
  13. 37 is the M series and 38 is R. Then it went T V W and in 48 they started back at B. The C on both of your examples would be a 1/2 ton. I would guess your truck would MD model.
  14. Those are 39-47 rear fenders. Yours should be a little more swoopy like the fronts
  15. Now what color will it be when completed???
  16. Nope best fuel to use imo
  17. Mopars in the park- does that mean we have another MN guy here?
  18. I was actually thinking the 69 sport fury but either works. I'm sure he'd toss me the keys to the convert and I have my own set to the wagon:)
  19. I should borrow a c body and cruise down!
  20. I bought this one end of 2019 when it was a deal of the day. I do use it more as a chair than creeper but it works well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GFZPNC8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_zddJJhuTpyIv5
  21. I don't believe those plastic lines are original. Every one I've seen was steel.
  22. None. Use steel or copper nickel lines
  23. There is a guy locally who also used to occasionally post on the forum with a small block ford in his p15. So ya it'll work
  24. Usually a good auto parts store will have a bin of those for oil pan drain plugs. I'd go match up 2 new ones and not worry about the paper insert version
