  1. If you happen to buy #203 the 64 dodge 330 4 door that's barely there I'd love some parts off it.
  2. Love to harvest parts off #203!
  3. That's why some trucks have a hose that goes up to a frame mounted vent- keeps it even more out of the water if going off-road or your boat launch example
  4. Someone will likely snap that up to get those headers. I know I would if it was local
  5. Yes pull brakes then you can get backing plate and then axles. Once you have the axles out the whole diff comes out. It's a quick swap. Verify both have the same side gear count by trying axles in new diff before install
  6. I ordered a model A float from mac's for just a few bucks
  7. I've heard the originals were shellac and that it gets dissolved by ethanol. I put plastic floats on mine.
  8. Yes I measured 5 thou without gasket and used a 10thou from the kit I had.
  9. 99% sure haha. Gasket was a vintage trans kit and the bottom was a U to allow a fluid path
  10. Digging through my pile I had a bunch like that although yours appears to have an M in the middle and I had A. Then I had a bunch of smooth headed ones with TR raised in the center.
  11. Sad to report it's still leaking. It's gone from gushing back to what appears to be a slow drip but after a couple miles around the neighborhood it still left a good 8" circle spot in the driveway.
  12. I checked a few of the old ones I had laying around and they were also 11/16 head
  13. I would think either of those would look correct when painted up and installed. The few I looked at were a plain head with an R on them. Would the originals have a DPCD head? Not sure....
  14. I'll trade you the late 50s Chevy one I can't get rid of.....
  15. I believe the summit ones have a different head so if you are going for the OEM look they won't work for you. Yes the bolts need to have an undercut shank to avoid rusting into the head.
  16. Now we know who is hoarding all the p15 clocks
  17. Ha and it's just a few miles from both Mark and myself and we've been ignoring it
  18. Ah I was not expecting that to have OD. 4.11 with OD should serve you well. My coupe has 3.73 with an OD and that thing cruises like crazy. I keep thinking I should switch the 3.73 into the truck for it's 3.90
  19. That 230 should drop right into your pickup even if you have a 201 or 218. You will likely need a 230 flywheel and go from there
  20. Why a 4.11? A 3.90 with 16s is a great combo.
  21. Isn't that backwards? Red 6v green 12v? Not sure what color the military 24vstuff is
  22. Well in order to use that adapter you'll need to leave the water pump. So I would say pull the 2 lower plugs and flush. Then I would pull water pump and dist tube and flush more.
  23. Overdrive is back in, filled with new 90w GL1 from TSC and I just finished my first test drive. We'll soon know how good I did .......
  24. Where is the MN one? Maybe someone local can help.
