  1. As far as I'm aware that's only available used from donor trucks. Is yours broken or completely missing??
  2. Yes it is but it's a tight fit. You should be able to remove the rear mounts and then tip and twist is down and out of the cab hole.
  3. 39 trucks had a darkish blue and 41-47 were brown. I believe 40 was like 39 with all blue.
  4. Here's an old post where I was experimenting with them
  5. Apparently earlier ones are actually indented into the glass and laters are silk screened to the surface.
  6. The 39-47s are the same. The frame is setup for mounting the steering on the right and the cab has duplicate areas. For us the dash would be different with the instruments and glove box swapping
  7. Most of what you see is on the glass. The actual gauge just has the dark background with the dots.
  8. Personally I always pull the cable when parked. Only engage the overdrive when hitting the highway
  9. You can carefully uncrimp the back of the ignition to remove the armored piece. Replace the wire and reinstall.
  10. Find the proper bolt and buy an extra nut. The nut gives you a flat spot to drill on and little chance of messing up threads if you go through both. Also you can likely put the head and the nut in a vice to hold it steady.
  11. It's hard to remember but ive found if your engine is really hot just hitting the starter with no gas at all works on mine.
  12. Some of the 25' rolls of copper nickel come as a kit with the coiled armor.
  13. The oil gauge should be easy to find. The temp gauge can be repaired. There is a DIY solution or places to rebuild.
  14. Somewhere along the way for 46-48 plymouth the lower mounts were eliminated. So possibly they aren't needed for him.
  15. My 51 Mopar parts book clearly shows the armored cable in the diagram and shows it was used across the entire Mopar lineup for 51. I know my 51 and Dad's both had/have them.
  16. Its been a while but if you can find someone with a good napa discount you should be able to save quite a bit. The last one I bought was about$30.
  17. As someone said above I think making it an event is the way to go. Then fb will actually remind people
  18. That's the axle nut that holds the drum on for 1/2 tons and cars. Not the wheel studs
  19. This is the piece https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3957&name=Antenna 4H - Round Top&category=[Antenna]#T=C&C=17
  20. Yup mine has been a piece of transparent red lego for 20years
  21. Looks like an unbranded signal stat. If it's made the same it'll be a good unit. Otherwise I'd suggest getting a signal stat 900.
  22. It's very difficult if you can't get that crank to move. There are hinges at the top that need to be unbolted from behind the wiper covers. Then there are 2 screws at the center bottom that hold the opener to the frame. Those are the tricky ones.
  23. High beam indicator. Should have a tiny red lense. Did it still have a bulb clipped into the back? If you want to remove it the back piece unscrews.
  24. I'd just be happy if I could get mine to stop leaking!! I've been running this in mine since last spring. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/traveller-ford-tractor-all-mineral-90-transmission-fluid-2-gal
  25. 39 was the transition with roadking having the floor shift(probably to use up supplies) and the deluxe being column shift. I believe the first 2-3 years had a cable vs the rods. Somewhere along the way the speedometer cable switched sides too but I don't recall which was first. When I put the OD in my 48 I had to get an extension because of it
