gbhdrake383
Here my 1948 B1. Bought it after sitting since 1955. The women I bought it from said it was her grandfathers. She remembers playing on it when she was a little kid when he first parked it. Edited November 7, 2016 by gbhdrake383

John-T-53
How many truckloads of ice blocks did it take to cover that lake?
ggdad1951
(Area of Lake ÷ block size)/blocks per truck = number of loads
moose
Is it OK if I sneak this one in here? It's a pre-Mopar Dodge Brothers, and it's not a six cylinder... 27 DB

No leg room-oh well, just for shorter treks. I would probably need on of those "Fatman" steering wheels to get in and out and I only weigh #175 lb. Todd B
Very cool to see working trucks. Our sap season is all done and the trees are budding out already, the snow and ice is completely gone and road limits are coming off tomorrow. I hope you are tapping maples, all I see in the pictures are Ash trees and evergreens.
wallytoo
into april has been the norm here for the last 10 years. in 2014 & 2015, i didn't boil sap until april, which was the first time in 35+ years of sugaring that i didn't boil in march. no fear, i tap sugar maples only. no reds, silvers, boxelders, pines, hemlocks or ash. Bobacuda
Hey Wally, who dropped all of the cotton on the ground? It's going to get messy and not stay white if they leave it there. Been in the low 80's the past few weeks here in Texas, but we will get a cold snap tomorrow when the high is predicted to be 72.
