There has been some interest in the past regarding P15 D25 identifiing paraphenialia. There is a local place here that does 4 x 4 static cling stickers.

They could be done on clear material witht he logo on a white background, or simply the red logo on the clear background.

single colors are 1.49 for 125, and 80 cents for 250.

If there is enough interest, I would front the cost for printing some, and then would sell them for 2 buck s apiece. proceeds paying for mailing with balance going to GTK for Web site support.

There was a source for camera ready art, but someone suggested that the slogan ".The online source for early MOPAR information."

Could also do one for the pilot house design if there is interest there also.

I know we have discussed T shrits in the past and some don't wear T shirts.

Static clings are easily removeable.

Here's something interesting about those magnetic signs you know the kind you just slap on your car paint surface. Well those look good but when you go to take them oft they tend to cause habit with the paint underneath. I noticed this on my Motor home where someone put one of those magnetic ribbons on the back door. When I removed it I could see an impression of the ribbon on the surface of the paint, not good! So if you think those magnetic signs are cool I would steer away from those if you want to protect your paint. Jon

I've used magnetic signs for years and I've never had a problem such as Jon mentions. I like the static cling decals in two of my cars' windows and they work well. I tried making a few at home w/ my printer a few years ago, but was disappointed in the results. Professionally printed static cling decals work well.

BTW, since it was brought up, other P15-D24 items are available at http://www.cafepress.com/P15D24

Well I know mine had a nice ribbon design underneath the magnetic emblem. Maybe this is because it has a newer imron paint job and it has something to do with that. But I have talked with other people about this problem and most of them have had this happen to them. Oh well I would be very hesitent if I were to slap one of those decals on my nice new paint job. By the way the area where that ribbon design was located at has been cut away and I install a window over that area.DSC02204.jpg

Jon,

I agree, magnetic signs will leave an imprint on the car. Actually, that's because the paint on the car fades and whats under the sign doesn't.

However, that's not what Greg is talking about. He's talking about the clear plastic static cling sign that goes on the glass of the car. Probably wouldn't stick to your car if you tried. The static cling sign would be just like what the shop puts in the corner of your windshield to give the mileage and date of your oil change. It peels right off and leaves no sticky on the glass either.

Anyway, Greg I'll take two too if you get those. Don't do PayPal though, would have to be a check in the mail.

I'd like one as well Greg if you get them. I purchased a t-shirt and a magnet that I have stuck on the dash from cafe press. Static cling would be nice to put on the car too.

Jon;

Where can you buy a custom magnetic sign for two bucks? These are not magnetic signs.

Greg;

Excellent idea. Send me ten bucks worth. I know a few folks with a motor home I can give them to.:D

Should we be thinking about a few POCOC stickers:confused:

Greg, I would take three for my three flatties. I would prefer the red lettering and a clear background. They are just a little more subtle that way. (Maybe do some clear and some with white background unless it affects cost). Looks like you would have lots of interest.

I know the subject was a different type of decal and won't bother the paint I was just stating something that maybe someone might not know. And it was not a difference in paint from fading it as the whole area where the magnetic sign was adhered to was showing signs of deterioration under the sign. It kind of looked like a paint job that had "orange peal" underneath that decal. Jon

Well this thread has had 231 views 16 responses and just more that 30 committed orders. Orders are from the usual subjects. Is there any more support for this idea, as I don;t want to be sitting on 160 of these.
