  1. Could send you one from Denmark if any interest.
  2. Looks nice. What's the riveted unpainted plate for? Is it a truck thing?
  3. Maybe. We don't have these ratings. Mine are 70 mm² Car starts instantly, but then again I have 6 hidden ground cables, one of them directly to starter bolt as explained in an earlier thread.
  4. Mine 4202 has a small horse shoe clip. Testing chamber, not scientifically but for function, I connect a hose, place in mouth and imagine it's cold milkshake. It will move. ?
  5. Are you sure it's retarded and not advanced. Tell us where your pointer is.
  6. I have the disc type connected to carb. I was suspicious back then of it's effectiveness but I was surprised how well it performs.
  7. I never use feeler gauge, dwell is more precise. I purchased a newer cap, drilled two holes above adjust and set screws and use plastic screwdriver to adjust dwell while engine running. After adjustment, remove cap and tighten with normal screwdriver and double check. Plastic screwdrivers are called alignment tools and used for high frequency circuit adjustments.
  8. If so, he might let us know for next time someone stumbles over such a tool kit.
  9. Plymouthy Adams is correct, called housing vent assembly part 3-02-20 @greg g funny comment but Cadillac had it back before 1937. Se attached from shop manual
  10. No but usually LED bulbs require specific voltage to turn on unlike incandescent bulbs. Typically they won't work due to voltage drop through connectors and switches. Simple solution is a small cheap voltage boost circuits for each LED. https://www.ebay.com/itm/313621202970?epid=17008650258&hash=item490547c81a:g:ZXIAAOSwaH9hA-SG
  11. Always wondered why people use gasket and silicone. Before it was invented, gaskets where always enough.
  12. @joecoozie Thank you for explaining to me what shrink tubing is. Someone uses shiny green tubing. Suspect. @keithb7 I'm not referring to heater element. I also live in a country with same latitude as mid Canada. It's the shiny freeze plug under ignition wire holder in a rusty engine. Suspect. Seems someone has worked on engine not long ago. Band air repairs probably failed and looks like owner gave up. Still curious to know what the white cup behind filter is.
  13. So does freeze plug repairs, Green shrink tubing and weird thing sticking up behind oil filter.
  14. I get these stainless from local boat accessories shop. For some reason they still use them.
  15. Yeah cool, filling up guzzlers like the Merlin and chain driven 27 litre Hispano Suiza racers Link from 2018 , seen at 3:22 and 5:57 https://youtu.be/fnNlwQunoLs
  16. If it was in my country. I'd buy it immediately. .
  17. Keep the Bull Eye headlamps. gently grind chrome edge off, discard reflector . Get new H4 Lamps, place in oven until glue softens. Remove glass and glue on Bullseye. This is what I did and they look good.
  18. We all have different opinions. We can agree to disagree
