    Our orchards are in full bloom. Thousands of acres of white and pink. I drive Year around, nice.

    You are our "Padre", we didn't go nuts until we came to your BBQ. That's where we got "infected"!!! I'm ready to roll, heater works now, new rear tires, new battery, new muffler and repaired pipe, just one more thing, will put it on a lift and will do a complete inspection. My grandson is coming with me. I'm going to drive him through the delta and have late lunch in Locke. Then late Saturday drive to Groveland for night and home through Yosemite on Sunday. Join us, let's have convoy to the park!

    I'm not trying for a modern cab quiet, yet there is no reason not to fix what does make a difference and that is what I'm doing. Rock hard cab mounts have got to put send viabration and sound into the cab. At least, I'm going to find out..

    John, I understand. If the valve check is close and all are similar, I will not change anything. I understand a loose timing chain can also be noisy. I'm certain my rock hard body mounts are not helping much either, so that will be next.

    I see a bunch of hay balers in one picture. Lots of Alfalfa in your area via circle irrigation? Are those 150 # bales?

    I have one set of mounts from my truck, and two sets for cars. Those are complete sets motors, arms and mounts BUT none have the small nuts and washers needed to attack the arms. On Later vehicles the wiper arms were held on by a stud bolt. Question: where do I find those nuts and washers? I will trade a car wiper motor for a set of those nuts and washers. Fortunately I live where it seldom rains, but my future driving range Will soon include mountain fishing and it can rain up there.
