  1. Sad. It's been almost three months since there's been a post about the old Meadowbrook. It seems like Warden18 has been fooling around with another vehicle. Just saying. ??
  2. I also found that lowering the float level helped with hard starts with a hot engine. Might be an easy fix.
  3. What. You didn't take any photos?! ?
  4. Great find. Hopefully you can free the car from the garage and the detritus of life, cruising the back roads again. It inspires the rest of us that maybe there are cars still hidden in the garages of our home town. ?
  5. Looking good. I like those wheels.
  6. Here is a good link for you: https://www.t137.com/registry/help/otherengines/otherengines.php It looks like you have a 230 ci from 1958. More knowledgeable folks will be able to confirm or disavow.
  7. I know there are medallions on the door cards. Obviously not the same as the one you have, but maybe have changed over the years.
  8. Can't wait to follow the build thread. Will keep my eye out for parts
  9. The Meadowbrook is going to get jealous!
  10. Great looking truck. I like the " moose gooser". Like an over protective parent, I bristled at some of his criticisms. Dude is a little soft..kept complaining about how hard the seat was. ?? By the way, what is this?
  11. Much easier and less stress to remove the front clip.
  12. It looks like you're going out with "leave it to beaver's" mom ?
  13. I purchased mine from quality power auto as well https://www.qualitypowerauto.com/ Very happy with it so far. Make sure you buy the bracket to go with it and get the correct pulley size. The above electrical schematic came with it.
  14. While cruising the coast, we get the "shaka" sign. My wife is in charge of hanging her arm out the window and giving the shaka back ?. I'm too busy hang'n loose. ?
  15. The Mayflower did 3 knots (2mph) if they were lucky ?. Stand by for warp speed Captain!.
  16. https://images.app.goo.gl/x6r8Vvq2ssuBaW9B9. I am curious to know as well. Just by doing a search for "job-rated" advertising. I found it used from 1939 into the mid 50's. The Pilot-House seems to start in 48 with the b series and is used into the mid 50's with the c series. Just my 2 pennies worth of Google searching.
  17. Hey Merle! Show that photo of you driving around in the snow, sitting on a bucket ?
  18. I also encourage you to use a cart/stand once you start adding external components
  19. This may or may not help.
  20. Maybe I should change my business name to "Kind Buds Landscaping" or maybe "Up in Smoke Landscaping" since I live in California. ??
  21. That's a good looking 2 door. ?
  22. Nice find. Looks like it pushed a couple of hay wagons in it's day ?
  23. I know this year has been postponed. Maybe see you in 2022?
  24. Anecdotally, I see dozens of Fords, Chevys, Packards, but only a couple plymouths at the local 'Woodies on the ward" in Santa Cruz.
