  1. Wouldn't one of those Speedy CV Joint repairs work? You wrap them around and glue them together. I would think they would have to work as well as the leather one's you stitch together with a piece of wire.
  2. Forgot I took a picture of the dash.
  3. Here is a picture of the car in question. I took it Friday when I was up there viewing the cars.
  4. I put one of those in my 37, and have one for my 41. Wife hates it, things it's too loud.
  5. I'm going up Friday for the preview. Brother is coming up from Louisiana for the weekend, so I can' make the auction.
  6. Indeed, they are out there. Just did a quick search on ePay! http://www.ebay.com/itm/62-63-Mopar-B-Body-Models-Fuel-Gas-Tank-Golden-Star-made-overseas-/390574638074?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5af01003fa&vxp=mtr
  7. All this talk about radials lasting longer makes me laugh. I bought my 58 Plymouth Belvedere convertible in 1985. First thing I did was buy some bias ply wide white Sears tires to put on it. I never stored the car in a heated garage, or put it on jack stands, and sometimes never even started it for a couple of years at a time. Those tires lasted 25 years, before I had a 2 in X 2in piece of tread come off. On my 68 Fury III convertible, I put a new set of radials on it a few years back. It was stored right along side of the 58. Driving to a POC meet a few years ago, threw a chunk of thread. Tire beat a small whole in the wheel well before I could pull over. I thought those tires looked like new, didn’t have many miles on them, and were not that old. While the tire store was mounting a couple of new ones, I got in the glove box and looked up the paperwork. They were 15 years old. Needless to say, a new set of Goodyear bias ply’s went on the 58.
  8. There is a Miller brake tool on eBay now. Not mine, just passing along the info. http://www.ebay.com/itm/321192944860?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  9. Sorry, didn't mean to post twice. Couldn't find it (page 2), so I tried again.
  10. My brother has a 50 2 door sedan (fastback). I think they are the only one's that are different, they are made in one piece (bucket, bezel, and lens).
  11. I think you're right. Here's a picture of a 53 Dodge.
  12. I don't think it's Mohair, I think it's Wool Broadcloth.. I used the same pattern in my 49 Plymouth back in the 80's. I got it from LeBaron Bonney and I think it ran about $60 a yard back then. Tried doing a quick look up at their WEB site for that pattern, and found something similar: https://www.lebaronbonney.com/cart/fabricbytheyard.php?Cc=GREY363
  13. Thanks Shel. That was the help I needed. Here's the measurements for the pin.
  14. I have a drawing that I think BlueSkies made from his pin for another forum member who had an Ammco gage without a pin. I used it to have a follow POC member make a pin for me for a brake gage I bought on eBay. But like others, I'm struggling with this new format. I can't attach the figure. Does the "green tree" replace the paper clip? If so, I guess I'm like others, when I click on it the whole screen goes grey, and my only recourse is to hit the "back" button. Maybe someone can do a search and find the drawing for him. Lee
  15. I put one of these in my 41 Plymouth (+ ground). I use it to power one of those old FM converters (you know, where you set the am station to 1400 and dial in FM stations). I then listen to FM stations on my original 41 radio.
  16. IGS-4111 is the number on the distributor in my 41 coupe.
  17. First Wildflecken, then Fulda. Were you guys in the air defense artillery? I was assigned to Head Quarters, 6th Battalion (HHB) of the 562nd Air Defense Artillery command in Butzbach. Company B was in Wildflecken, Germany, and Company C was in Fulda. We were a Hawk Missile Battery. I had a 63 Opel Record while I was stationed over there. About 6 months before I got out, I sold it and bought a 67 Mustang from a “lifer” who was transferred stateside. I got promoted to SGT (E-5) and got to ship it back home for free. So my USA plates are hanging on my garage wall
  18. I was there too. Butzbach - 70-71. We (wife and I) were just back there in October with a couple we were stationed there with. Loved every minute of it too.
  19. That's funny. I had to hold my laptop upside down to look at those pictures.
  20. I think you are talking about two different towns (Bingtown VS. Binghamtom), one more "upstate" then the other.
  21. Don't ya think they used coupe doors, and built the piller on the sedan.
  22. Nope. Planned on it, but that’s a whole other story. So we canceled and decided to save the money. We are leaving in a week for a European trip for two weeks. We’re going to go to London, Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Zurich, and someplace called Interlaken in Switzerland. You see, way back in Dec. 69, when Nixon started the draft lottery, I was number one! Yup, I won the lottery! In mid-January of 1970, I was doing pushups in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Long story short, came home on leave in July, and got married, and shipped off to Germany. Wife joined me in September, daughter was born in June the next year. We always talked about going back. Last fall, we got a call from our friends from Oregon that we were stationed over there with. They were thinking about going back, and thought it would be fun to go with us. So the whole thing was set in motion. Some of the places were our picks (wife wanted to go to London), and some were there picks (Interlaken). Anyway, we’re all set, and really excited. Lee
  23. Did anyone make the meet?
  24. I think 37-39. I know my buddies 36 didn't, here's a picture of my 37.
