  1. Yes, that is the Agape skirt. I seem to remember them telling me they designed them to not cover the "speed lines" of the fender.
  2. Looks like this (grabbed it off eBay).
  3. Attached is a picture of my 77,000 41 Special Deluxe coupe. With the exception of the skirts (which I don’t have installed yet) and the accessory vent wings, my car has those options. In the second photo you can see those inside trim rings around the hub caps are scalloped. Lee
  4. Correct, I was just looking for a quick picture to show the relay, and searched eBay. I have the one that came with my car, and a spare I picked up on eBay some time ago. I think the number stamped in the top isHRT 4002A. It appears the fuse holder is in that one.
  5. I think Ed is correct. The relay looks like this.
  6. I bought this one over the weekend from and estate auction for $25 (first photo). The auction isn’t until this weekend, but a friend of mine’s mother died and he was going to put it on the auction. I mentioned I was looking for one for my shop, so he said I could have it (it wasn’t on the auction bill). I got it home, and it’s the same model as the one I have in my garage (second photo), only a little larger.
  7. Looking at the pictures, I’m surprised to see the spare in the trunk. The spare in my 41 business coupe is behind the seat, under a canvas tarp. Or is yours an “opera coupe” with the jump seats?
  8. Poly (wide block) 318.
  9. I think it’s for the 40-41 models, but it will fit in the 46-48. The 41 radio has a bar in the dash piece that goes down between the dial and the buttons (see attached photo of a model 800). I don’t have a really good front on shot of my radio in the dash, but you can see it in the picture of my dash. I have the dealer instructions for installing a radio in a 41, and they actually mention cutting this portion out with a hack saw to install a P-15 radio. Lee
  10. As long as we’re talking 64 Fury’s, here’s mine. After 20 years, I finally finished it last year. I literally put the carburetor on it, backed it out of the garage, hooked up the teardrop, and put 4800 miles on it going to the meet in Portland, Oregon.
  11. That guy came through Omaha a few years ago driving one. The paper did a feature on it. Here is what I found on Google. http://www.bangshift.com/blog/Odd-Rods-Arizona-Man-Builds-Running-Driving-Scale-Models-of-Classic-Cars.html
  12. That is the way this works. The labeler puts the gold letters on the clear tape, you trim, peel and stick.
  13. That is an aftermarket grill guard on the rear. I have one on the front of my 41. It was on there when I bought it.
  14. What did you figure out on your labels? I have the same problem with my dash on my 37 Plymouth (pic 1). I remembered this labeler I have at work (pic 2), so I brought it out and looked in the manual, and they listed a gold letter on a clear background. I jumped on their WEB site, and found that that label was discontinued. I did a Google search, and found the labels on Amazon, so I ordered the tape. I printed one out, and with the smallest font, the letters are the same height. But the spacing is wider, and I can’t change that. I got one NOS knob with the car (pic 3), so I printed out the same thing, trimmed it, and placed it on the lower portion to show the difference. It looks good enough for me, so I’m going to use them on my dash. If you want a set, PM me with your address and I’ll mail them to you. Lee
  15. Of course, there is always good 'ol eBay. I found several auctions. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/16-rat-hot-rod-gasser-paint-wide-white-wall-tires-/200615851664?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2eb5a2f690

  18. I knew you'd like that one Ed. I wondered about the 1 of 7 myself.
  19. If you’re ever in Nebraska. Some nice flathead projects: http://www.fowlkesrealtyandauction.com/auctions202.htm
  20. You would be surprised what a real fine grade of steel wool pads (like grade 0000, or 000) will remove. I’ve used it to clean glass, stainless, etc.
  21. I noticed the bumpers. There was just a discussion about them recently, the way it warps around vs. the Plymouth.
  22. These guys show a u-shape Mopar heater core: http://www.classicheaters.com/Frame-1-page1namepage1.html?refresh=1193971233931

  24. No big deal, he must have had more than one: You were the second highest bidder on this auction. You only missed it by $1.00. I have a second identical unit and will be happy to sell it to you at your bid price. I know I could have bid again, but I just didn't want to get into a bidding war. I have the one that came out of the 53 hardtop with the overdrive, but just thought this looked like a good deal.
  25. You have been outbid on 1952,1953,1954,1955 DeSoto, Dodge, Plymouth OD Relay (250761500920) Thanks for posting Tim. Oh well, I had hoped I could fly under the radar.
