  1. I think you will find that they do not use a radiator cap. They are closed pressurized systems with a 28# pressure relief valve.
  2. The only mount available on a 241 hemi is a front style mount. There are no mounting ears on the block for L&R mounts. The original mount was under the water pump.
  3. The primer is always going to cure from the same direction. It doesnt change directions because you are painting over rust or not.
  4. There isnt going to be alot of choice on the cam, unless you happen upon a N.O.S. unground core.
  5. Any idea on the cost of the conversion? I have no idea, but would think it must be $300 or more? Just guessing.
  6. What would someone have to pay to have the block shortened? I dont see it as a cost effective alternative to buying a later block. Contrary to popular belief, they are not that scarce.
  7. Not the best picture in the world for trying to sell something.
  8. Too much money unless you are restoring a 51-53 Chrysler.
  9. Installing slightly larger valves is an easy operation, and I would highly recommend it. There are many available, and the majority at a lesser cost than original valves. Plus using an 11/32 stem allows the sleeving (vs replacement) of the valve guides. My .02.
  10. Nothing coming down right now. We have a total of maybe 6 inches where I am in central Vermont. It looks like alot because the ground was bare prior to this.
  11. It is just a little snow. Seems like every storm nowadays is a "storm of the century".
  12. The 315 truck should be casting number 1628129 or 1828129. Depending on application, they could also have the sodium filled exhaust valves.
  13. Yes, it is rough. But different. It doesnt look like there was much finish work inside the bed.
  14. This is currently on ebay. I didnt know if I should post the link. Anyone ever seen a conversion like this? I guess they didnt care for the Dodge style. I have asked the seller for some close-ups of the cab corners, etc.
  15. Started mocking up the engine mounts. It looks like it will fit.
