  7. Ive been looking for a dashboard clock for Booger. P18 special De. recently a NOS has shown up on Ebay for 300 clams. If I wanted a Rolex I would buy a Rolex. Yes they are rare. A 3 part question I guess. is there a quartz rip off out there? Does this clock drain your battery? It sure will drain your wallet. Get it or screw it?
  8. a 218 will send you down the road with no issues with the proper gearing or an R10. If you live in a mountain region, that could be an issue. If youre a flatlander,no worriesa 230 is and upgrade, yes. Brakes, suspension are essential. Roll up your sleeves

That is one beautiful dashboard/steering wheel. Art Noveau if you will. Sniper nails it with the teflon tape,. anything liquid (not gasoline) Rectorseal #5 helps
  22. One last thought. the design of a modern radial tire is different than the old school stock rims that stock bias tires fitted. If a 70 yr old rim holds air on a tubeless tire, then great.
  23. Wasnt uncommon to take out a t-stat when you were pouring black pepper down the radiator for "stop leak" I had heard of saw dust but never tried it I tried for years to kill that 54 Plaza sta wa. It delivered US Mail for years 400 stops a day! Doors were welded shut. Crawled in and out of windows like Richard Petty
  24. nice work. pre 40s stuff shifter is on the floor. That wont fly for after War cars
