  1. good advice. I bought a 3.54 pumpkin to make a swap. little did I know that my 49 P15 was an oddball 11 bolt . and now its sits in my garage :(
  2. I know most of us would like to have spotless garage floors. Some are "leakers" some are not. replaced rear main 6 months ago. theres a little puddle. cardboard does wonders for your garage floor

  4. My co worker at my local service station would do a yearly oil change flush with 4 qts oil and 1 qt kerosene. (we sold white gas too in bulk) fill, run for 5 mins, and then drain. Fill again with fresh oil. Seemed to have good results. The only trouble was oil was so clean couldnt read it on the dipstick. If you suspect years of sludge build up, drop the pan and clean before hand

    the Plymouth bible sez rope seal prior to 53 P24. But components get swapped in early rebuilds. Its whatever works.
  6. Ive had plenty o slant 6s. Please do not use of anything worthwhile. Just leave them in the Darts and Valiants were they belong
  7. all this new fangled crap is puzzling to me. Ive used simply tune up parts for 50 years.
  8. I think its a great idea. Smells like a falcon or Ranchero swap.And thats all 12 v (might be a little under powered) no tape measure with me but I got to believe the whole powertrain is smaller

  17. 3 BW ods on Ebay. They look rough but it's just dirt and they look all intact. $1000
  18. A new water distribution tube could help. 180° is a happy place. 200 ° is acceptable on a hot day
  19. my guess is sillynoid is bad. check connections. dry and free of greez

    In the states (depending where you are) gas is around $4.50 a gal. I was in Europe 2 years ago and of course petrol is sold by the litre. I would Imagine its around 7-8 Euros a US gal. ouch!

    what kind of miles per gallon are you getting? Booger is a 218 3 speed no OD. around 16 mpg city/highway combined
