Nothing special today. Just out cruising in the ‘51 Dodge D39 business coupe and stopped at my favourite location. I just like all the greens at this time of year. I can open the trunk lid and use the trunk floor to sit on and have a cool one.

Same location, different car. I had my ‘48 Dodge D25 club coupe out today. Both it and the ‘51 Dodge above, are Canadian Dodges based on the Plymouth but with Dodge trim. I’ll try to get my 3rd and last old Mopar out tomorrow or the next day in the same location, my 1953 Plymouth.

I wish this box was a bit deeper than it is....it is 60" and I would prefer 72"  as a better length in case I wanted to camp sometime.

Well, you could always take 12" out of your shins and change your name to Cotton Hill.

Some years ago went to a rally Had to take a small ferry. The wanted extra for the camper. I refused. Unhooked it. Went there solo and slept in the trunk of my 3W. Did bang my head a couple of times :). Putting on trousers was also an art.

my Dodge D19 3 window, as is yours,  has a very deep trunk....you can stack bodies in there like cord wood if you had to.....

I was surprised when I towed my last retrieval home on the toll road they only charged me an extra 3.00 for the added axles...I deliberated long and hard going this route....but I also wanted to avoid Atlanta as my trip timing would put in there at peak traffic.  Turned out to be my fastest trip and that was with towing....fewer and quicker pit stops solo than with other occupants in the car.

Same location. Third and last Mopar. ‘53 Plymouth 4-door Belvedere only found in Canada. Note extra stainless on front door. Car is a survivor including original paint. It’s my favourite of the three.  I bought it in 1975, same year I got married. Still have my wife too! ?

The car in 1976, the year after I bought it.

I’ll combine them as there is other content between the car pictures. All same location and the cars in the same orientation.

Love the old Mopars!!

Glad that two out of three are carrying some stainless from my stockpile.

Yes, ‘51 and ‘53. All pretty hard pieces to find, especially the ‘53 door trim. As you know, much appreciated!
