For a late 50's style custom,it's not that bad. Daryl Starbuck and Ed Roth were building MUCH uglier cars back then, and selling them while getting famous for building them. Quote

busycoupe Posted September 13, 2016 Report Posted September 13, 2016 That looks like a bridge in Westwood, Ma that was in the news recently for a spate of similar incidents. I think it has only 10'6" clearance. Quote
Uncle-Pekka Posted September 14, 2016 Report Posted September 14, 2016 No comments to my above "find" - thus I confess, it's OFF TOPIC by all means but an interesting photo of an old car... It was a German prototype, 1952 Haller Taifun. Looks like they took it to USA for promotion tour right after it was made. No idea where it ended and was there any successor to it...? 1 Quote
pflaming Posted September 27, 2016 Report Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) Now here is patina! And for those who like low, here is low! I believe that is a B series Dodge! It just doesn't get much better than this! Add to that, OP motorcycles!! Edited May 28, 2017 by pflaming Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted September 27, 2016 Report Posted September 27, 2016 I am sure glad this popped up at the end of the day,. a time when I have had my supper and it has settled and got my feet off the floor...that thing should NOT be on the road under any form of power or tow rope.....odds are it has fallen off a trailer and the guy is smart enough not to come back for it... 1 Quote
pflaming Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 (edited) Here is a van I spotted last week. I did not know that the '39 grill on the truck was different than the car. Edited May 28, 2017 by pflaming Quote
casper50 Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 (edited) The panel is nice. the truck needs so much help I'm surprised it's not on life support. Edited September 28, 2016 by casper50 1 Quote
Bobacuda Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 Have to admit, that truck is proof that just because you can do it does not mean you should do it. Glad it's not around here so I will never have to see it again...until the parts show up on ebay. Quote

Ulu Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 Wow! If you gave six monkeys LSD inside a paint store, they might be able to do a worse paint job. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 only thing a monkey needs is a hand grenade with the pin already pulled...one of natures most nasty critters....second to the humming bird....lol Quote
Don Coatney Posted September 28, 2016 Author Report Posted September 28, 2016 For you monkeys count this. Quote
DonaldSmith Posted September 29, 2016 Report Posted September 29, 2016 In the selective attention test, i saw the gorilla because I was expecting something like this. However, I lost count of how many times the people in white passed the ball. Quote

Desotodav Posted October 2, 2016 Report Posted October 2, 2016 I saw a link (on another forum which I frequent) which had a link to many old MOPAR photos from here in Oz. Some really cool old photos there... https://get.google.com/albumarchive/104928423534347932585?source=pwa . A couple of my favorites attached... 5 Quote
