ggdad1951 Posted June 8, 2012 Report Posted June 8, 2012 (edited) made a trip to a "local" yard today (2 hours+ west the Cities). Found these poor guys, but looking pretty picked over, but I found some treasures for me and some for others. If you see anything you NEED, PM me and I'll see if we can't work something out. I picked the following that is available to anyone for what I paid plus shipping Hood props (I know SOMEONE was looking for those) hood handles Model 65 heater (beat up, but could be rebuilt) Data plate from the panel truck Data plate from the green wrecker Black painted headlight bezel Edited June 8, 2012 by ggdad1951 Quote
Stumpy(NH) Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 Would love to get the mirror bracket and mount off of the green wrecker for my B1FA. Quote
John-T-53 Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 Out Hwy 12? Next time I visit my family in the area I'll have to plan a side trip! Quote
48Dodger Posted June 9, 2012 Report Posted June 9, 2012 I need those rear fenders off the panel truck!.....I have no idea how hard they are to remove or if the 1/2 ton half rounds would work with modification. Torture to see them just sitting there exposed in a field...sigh. Maybe Ill catch a ride with you John. lol 48D Quote
ggdad1951 Posted June 9, 2012 Author Report Posted June 9, 2012 Stumpy: if I head back out, I'll put it for you, or if John goes out he can. Tim: didn't see any, but I wasn't really looking for them either. The yard is 1200 acres total (but not as full as it used to be) John: yep, Windy Hill. When you come visit, you have to meet up w/ Ed and I. 48 Dodger: yah, NO idea on that. If I head back out I'll poke at them (plan a longer day). That whole truck makes me sad, so much on it that is hard to find. Even the rear doors looked to be repairable. Quote

I haven't been to windy hill in years. We've been going to Rohners and French lake instead. IF IF you push it hard you can hit 2 in a day. Quote

pflaming Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 I could use the passenger side windshield wiper 'cowl' mount. I don't see one on the pics, but maybe. I wonder why he had so many Dodges? Or is this the Dodge area of his larger inventory. Happy picking, since Click and Clack have retired maybe there's a future for the two of you? Quote
buds truck Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 door stops, I need a good pair of door stops. I suicided my doors and then put them back to stock again. I sold the originals to Mckinney. Quote

Wish I had a shot at the whole truck, but distance is to great.....I'm happy to have saved the one I did, but really it should be the parts truck not "the" truck. Sounds like you're gonna be able to help out a lot of guys here, if you think you can remove those inner fenders (put me at the bottom of the to do list).....I will pay for that shipping, cuz I haven't been able to anything out here yet! 48D Quote
ggdad1951 Posted June 11, 2012 Author Report Posted June 11, 2012 Sounds like Ed and I will take a trip out and pull a bunch of parts. Especially on the panel fenders any heads up on getting those off would be appreciated. Any interest in the panel truck rear doors? Would make the trip most likely after the start of July. Quote
