T120 Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Continuing high prices at the pump may "fuel" further interest in CNG powered vehicles in North America Quote
Mark D Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 $3.83 - #3.89 here in central Mass at the Gulf station. But I maintain a membership with BJ's and buy my gas there most often. The looks I get filling up with the Plymouth are priceless. Everytime I fill up somebody inevitably asks me what kind of mileage I get in such an old car. Most are surprised to hear that the average 10 year old car does no better than my 63 year old car. Quote
T120 Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 (edited) Drove the old Dodge down to the gas station this morning..I guess the price won't be any cheaper in the near future.. Edited April 9, 2012 by Ralph D25cpe Quote

drillmastertommy Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Using the current tourist exchange rate I am paying the equivelant of $9.85 per gallon right now..... I dont tend to 'nip' to the shops in the Plymouth. Quote
48Dodger Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Venezuela......@0.18 cents/gallon Turkey.....@10.00 dollars/gallon 48D Quote
40P10touring sedan Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Was $4.35 last week, and just hit $4.19 in some spots. Still won't make me go run back to the E85 stuff again...I tried it for a short while a year ago on my van but it's not worth the loss of mileage per the cost. Quote
greg g Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 Funny how the news I heard o the radio today said there was surplus of gasoline, that the prive of a barrel of oil was down $3.50, that crude production is up. So I guess it ain't a supply and demand deal anymore. On a secondary note the stocks of natural gas are also up. Quote
1941Rick Posted April 9, 2012 Report Posted April 9, 2012 5.28 on canada's west coast.....some city prices higher for transit tax..... Quote
michael.warshaw Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 nyc today was 5.18 a gallon, long island is 410 a gallon. Quote
RobertKB Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 As Norm's Coupe, who some of you will remember, basically said, "It is what it is. If you want to drive, pay the price and fill her up." No point in whining. Big Oil and speculators drive the price and no government, which believes in the free market system, has any control over the price of gasoline unless they choose to lower the tax grab. If you don't like the price.........drive less, sell your old car, or stop buying. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted April 10, 2012 Report Posted April 10, 2012 so if you had to buy 100 gallons for your weekend fun you normally partake of..and the price is 15 cent more..that is just 15.00..you blow that at Wendys or McDonalds along the route...pack a lunch from home and call it even.. Quote
