"Certified pre-owned" seems to be the current advertising lingo. I wonder what the used car people will start using next once "certified" and "pre-owned" become as tarnished by their use as "guaranteed" and "used".

Took another look at that picture and the coupe on the right sure looks like a '33 PD (DeLuxe) Plymouth to me. And there is a '39 Plymouth front center. Not sure about the car you only see the back of on the street but I the cars I recognize are pre-WW2. I'm guessing the photo is from '41 or so.

"pre-owned" is the politically correct term these days; "used" is considered offensive.

Judging from the line, that trunk might have an ice chest full of pop and baloney sammiches

Courtesy of the San Luis Obispo History Museum...

The Blackstone Hotel was vacant for nearly 50 years and finally received a structural retrofit and remodel last year. It is now Cal Poly student housing (for preferred students I guess).

three pictures of my B2C, 1952, 1965, and 1974.  My dad and grandfather are in the 65 one, my grandfather in the 52 photo.  I was driving her in 74 in High School..  Two photos of our old 49.  My brother has it now.  The photo with the hay on the truck was about 1970.  My brother and me on the back hauling hay from the field.  The other is of Will and Joe Warlie, they worked form my grandfather.  Will was killed in Korea (marine) in 1950, so the photo was between 49 and 50 when the truck was nearly new.

over on the FB page I linked an old 1953 video that at the end of the video you can see them loading a 1.5 ton or larger Dodge truck with beer at my home town brewery.  Sadly I haven't been able to link it to over here.

I see the police are on scene....do you think they found out who was responsible for all the snow which caused the city to loose tons of money in manpower, equipment and chemicals to eradicate.......trust me, the south is still way ahead in that war....

Does this truck qualify? My son in law found it in a stream bed in Indiana and gave it to me for Christmas.

Anyone know its make and model?
