$2.99 gas tonight

In the state of high taxes, gas is down to 1.91.9 in the next town ten miles east of here, 2.09.9 at the Citgo here in our little hamlet.

My son in Oklahoma called yesterday, he said gas was 1.95 where he lives between Lawton and OKC

Omaha is consistently 10 cents higher than CB, IA. NE. taxes are higher than Iowa, 10 minute drive is worth it to me seeings how any savings in this day and age should be looked into!

Gas has been BELOW $2.00 now for a week. Saw $1.75 several places yesterday, but then we have Nancy, the guy from Austria, and Boxer in our corner!!!!!!! :rolleyes:

Gas has been below $2.00 all last week. Saw $1.75 downtown this morning. I am in central CA. Amazing, now I am really anxious to get my truck on the road.

I just paid $1.799 for gas for the van at the Shell station near me. I've heard on the news that some stations around town are selling gas for $165 or $1.69. Not going to run around looking for those prices though. Would burn more than a dollar or two worth of gas just finding it and getting to it. After all, that's only a $2 or $3 savings on 10 or 15 gallons, plus the time wasted. I only bought about 12 gallons.

Tanked up somewhere in NC for 1.63 on the way to Fla. Prices near Palm Beach are just under the 2.00 mark, must be chaep enough for the Bentleys and Lamborghini crowd as we have seen several of each.

Don't look to store gas for any period of time. You also need to consider where you live and when you buy it. i.e., For those that live in colder climates there is additional butane blended in to increase the vapor pressure. Then there is the dizzying environmental blends that are out there.

Just filled up in Attleboro, MA at a Shell station on Route 1. $182/gal. I saw $1.78/gal a few days ago, but didn't need gas then.

I saw $1.48 advertised just south of Indianapolis last week Thursday when I was on my way home from NC.

I paid $1.59 last night. And I saw $1.53 today when I ran out to get lunch.

I wonder how much longer this will last?

Probably until just before vacation season, late April/May. Then they'll probably shoot right back up there.
