  1. That strange looking beast was just on ebay and did not make reserve but someone was willing to pay $3500 for it http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DODGE-DART-LIMO-1962-NUNRUNNER-V10-T56-6SPD_W0QQitemZ270421689672QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item3ef6638548&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A13|39%3A1
  2. One thought for people with information to share. is the photo gallery perhaps a album or 2 could be created and items entered there. Also there is the links directory you could save the information on your web space and create links to it. On the pilot-house side there is a wealth of great information at deptca link http://dodgepilothouseclub.org/index.htm
  3. Harold, going back about 5 or 6 years ago there was a junk yard off texas rd I use to go to. It was off texas road going east of 9 almost to matawan name was h&h or something like that. Not sure if he is still in business but a great place pull your own parts great prices . There also is or was a yard on texas rd out that way but this guy was a little past it you made a left turn and went down a dirt road he was at the end of it. As this was around 2003 it could be a housing development by now.
  4. There is also a eariler set that was serials in the movies which has some great 40's mopars.

    Gone

I have been on this forum since I guess the mid 90's and the premise always was that while we talk mostly mopar we do what we like to our cars and that is what makes this forum what it is. A great place where all are welcome but this is not the POC forum which I also visit but as a visitor I respect their philosophy and members here should do the same. While I do keep my vehicles basically stock and correct with parts sometimes you have to do what works and costs less. So I am in the process of installing a mopar part, a bumper from a 52 Plymouth on a gmc truck I am working on Ed
  7. As dezeldoc said plug up any holes which is a good thing to do in any case. I also use a tray or 2 poison so if anything gets in it will be taken care of.
  8. That is interesting maybe we work too hard at getting these cars running.
  9. Do not have a all together photo and only Plymouth right now is my 52 suburban. But here is a link to photos of my old vehicles past and present http://www.oldmopar.com/cars.html
  10. Have you road tested the car ?
  11. I usually adjust the vacuum by the carb screws once I set the idle and the timing with a light when installing or adjusting points but have seen marking about adjust timing on the gauge so they must be related I guess once the timing is correct the spark improves and produces a better vac reading. I would be interested what the dwell reading is and what the timing light shows with your method.
  12. Everything you want to know is on the home page of this website http://www40.addr.com/~merc583/mopar/framesets/referenceframeset.html
  13. I purchased a few items from them 2 or 3 years back no complaints
  14. Not sure about removing the in tank filter but if you just pushed the junk further down you may still be able to clear it. Try a combination of carb cleaner and air from a compressor at about 100lbs it took a few treatments of letting cleaner soak in and then blowing out with air.
  15. Yes as Reg said post some photos of the coupe also of the truck in addition to my 52 suburban I also have a 59 w200 and a 60 d300
  16. In this months there is a story about a guy with a 50 Oldsmobile he drives it unrestored and the last line in the article is so true "People ask when I am going to restore it I say I'm not going to restore it I've already got one apart in my garage and I don't need two". Also a great article on a 62 willys .
  17. The problem or mistake on their part is they have this set up to go truck freight, floor pans and rockers are not that big, they should be ups or fedex and cost would be lower.
  18. Not sure about ride quality but the tires on my trailer are 12 ply rated f max capacity 2790 each tire these are 8-14.5 tires so I would think stronger then car tires. However I do have 215 x 75 x 15 radials on my 52 suburban and like the ride
  19. If you have a newer past 4 years or so computer you can use a dvd which holds a lot more then a cd I think you may be able to use both sides but not sure. I think being retired has something to do with forum use since I retired I am on less, maybe I had more free time when I was working Ed
  20. Shel, You are not looking at the situation correctly you do not have too much stuff you never have enough stuff and its always fun to get more stuff. The problem is you just need more room maybe a bigger house or garage to stuff your stuff in.
  21. I would check with a large auto parts like napa and see if they have any vacuum hose in that size.
  22. going toward the front there should be a hole in the frame
  23. exrernal part# 5-34-1. There also is a spring in the mc but this one controls the pedal
  24. If the arms are good you can just replace the rubbers.
  25. The return spring brings the pedal back up. If it is connected and not weak or broken then it may be its not set up correctly at the mc and the spring linkage is binding. Try taking out the front passenger side bleeder screw out there may be a lot of air in there and the with the screw out it will push it out then put it back and start bleeding over again at the right rear , left rear, right front , left front
