  1. Hello All,Coronet is for sale.Check out Knoxville Craigslist;Old Dodge also,Wagons are Hot,and the 64 big glass truck.Thanks.
  2. Has anyone grafted a later style blade attachment to the old arms? I have heard using vw arms works.Lets hear what works!!!
  3. wipers from roberts motor parts? It was kinda a let down when they got here. The arms are ok but the blades are very rinki dink.Has anyone got any from elsewhere?
  4. Hello All,Hope alls well.I am in need of info on how to get the clip that holds the outside lock to the door to let go.There is a acess hole on the door edge but I dont know how to get the clip to release. On older GM and others its like a horse shoe type. This one looks REAL different.I'm gonna have lots of time to piddle on my old cars cause I am now one of the unempolyed after 24 years of my life at Sea Ray boats. They let old timers go and kept others with way way less time.Quess its time to start over somewhere else huh! THANKS
  5. hey lug nut, that would be great if you could post that for me .Thanks!
  6. Was foolin around yesterday at the garage with a very small tack hammer, swatted at a flying insect with the hammer ,head came off ,no more side glass in the coronet! Now I need to know how to remove the inner door handle. Is it the same smaller size C clip used on most older cars?Has anyone else had this kind of unexpected event? Really makes one feel soooo stupid!
  7. hello scottyv47 I dont have any way to post video. The flow sounds nothing like the smittys or the cherry bomb, when the smittys reach a certain rpm range they have the popping splattering sound. The Flow has adeeper mellow tone. The best sound I've heard on a 6.Keep in mind my car is not true duels it is a single in duel out muffler. It would sound totally different with true twins. Also a lot of folks like the sound of the smittys and the bumbs, check out Dons on youtube, his sounds awsome too!
  8. Phil How tight do you wind it in low before you let up for the shift to second then how tight for high shift?
  9. phil have you changed the fluid in the drive? Every one says this will make a big difference.Mine seems to feel as if it has some slippage in high gear, maybe just me not knowing how ita supposed to feel.
  10. Hello everyone! been a while since I've been on. Hope alls well! I have a question concerning the gyromatic,If I were to consider swapping the gyro to a straight manuel trans,no fluid drive just 3on the tree, what does it take or is this even possible. Not real overly fond of the gyro, other than this the ole Coronet is sporting new exhaust with a 3 chamber flowmaster with duel tailpipes REALLY sounds awsome , not got the splatter sound of the cherry bum, real deep rumble.Been driving it a lot and no problems yet.Does it sound like I'm kinda thrilled about the ole car?
  11. OK guys,I know you all have talked about this somewhere on here but I need a step by step on how to change the fluid on a gyromatic. Can I access the fluid drive through the hole in the floor board? I remember someone saying to be careful about droping the bolt from the drive,if this happens does the bolt go into the bellhousing?Help me out here. What do I need to do to accomplish this. Will it help to do this? and do I refill with 90wt hydro from tractor supply? Almost time to enjoy our OLE MOPARS!!!!
  12. Anyone going to Myrtle Beach for this show? Its a great show, sometimes kinda cold! Dates are March 19-20-21.I'll be there!
  13. Hello All I am in need of a emblem for the coronet,It goes on the fenders and say gyromatic ,under that says coronet.Have 1 good one other one is broke.Let me know what you have. THANKS
  14. OK greg g sounds like you have described this right. So your saying there is 2 blower motors on this setup? Some one here on another post said it sounded like the 500 series heater was what I had as to how the heat was coming from under and across the entire floor board.I'm sure someone has rerouted the hoses and if this is ok then I will leave it this way cause it WORKS!
  15. yes the trans is a gyromatic. As far as the copper thing, there is no hoses attached to these connections. The actual heater hoses come from the core up beside the rad.And the heat works great. .....
