  1. I have not driven the truck on the road only into my garage so do not know much about the steering. 3 out of the 4 brakes were locked front 2 adjusted incorrectly and locked up left rear wc was frozen so it went straight into my garage. Brakes are being completely rebuilt and getting dot 5 silicon.
  2. The same guy who drove the 2nd truck on the pallet photo must have also driven my truck. I should be able to straighten it, if not I will look for a replacement . Thanks
  3. See photos this is the rod that connects the 2 tire rod ends. In the parts manual it looks straight (but that is a drawing not a photo) also when I turn the wheel all the was the tire rod hits the axle in the center. As I have to replace the king pins, a lot of play in the left I figure I may as well just replace all the steering parts but need to know about that rod 1st Ed
  4. One other suggestion since your are not sure where the rear is from it will be hard to check a manual so take a picture of both sides of both wheels so you know how everything goes back together.
  5. No photos right now it will be a few days and as this thread will most likely be lost by then I will send them direct to you and post here if I find the thread again
  6. I purchased some JCW carpert form my suburban. It was a little over $100.00 no complaints at that price. I did have to make a few cuts I think for the pedals and maybe trimmed a little. Not real heavy like in your house but it does look better then my floor which I had some patches in.
  7. According to my Hollander they also show them using different spindles after 42 on the Plymouths. I did not check the plymouth parts manual but if the spindles are the same they may fit as long as you use the bearings from the truck which it looks like reg has
  8. Sounds like a successful 1st ride especially if it was a round trip, I have had a few I had to walk back from. As for you friends not understanding they just do not know how to have fun but maybe when its complete you can give the a ride and if they still do not understand then its time to get new friends;)

  12. No answer but I have been trying to id a replacement engine in my 48 1 ton with similar numbers my look to be 63 GWC 3 . I had posted on a number of older dodge truck forums no real answer but the one that sounded the most logical was that it may have come from a industrial source (compressor hi-lo or similar) here is a photo of my numbers similar to yours. Also no engine # the pad where it should be is blank
  13. 3/4 and 1/2 ton are different will not interchange. The 1/2 ton should be the same pattern as the cars.
  14. Sorry to hear it another good guy driving on that highway in the sky.
  15. I sell mostly on ebay but it depends on what you are selling parts move pretty quick unless overpriced, manuals and brochures not as quick as there is a lot competition from repros and cd items. Vehicles and heavy parts mostly depend on local buyers as the shipping can be more then the part. I do have some ads on targeted free sights but most of my action is still on ebay.
