  1. Lol, Nice fog light addition ?
  2. My B3HH has a spring my other trucks didn’t have the springs but most of the cable were changed (undersized) over the years. LOL, seems like it was a practice to replace the cables and battery at the same time
  3. LOL, Isn’t that the same comment the landed you in trouble with Ed’s dad at BTT50’s? Noogie for you in April! ?
  4. ask the seller for a photo of the front Ken. If the parts book lay out is the same as the B series book, I took it to read the 208/209 are for a larger trucks and the left and right are the same part numbers for the front rear hangers
  5. Lol, Photo captured Rob! here you go Ken ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/293375720395?hash=item444e8e3bcb:g:JQIAAOSwR0dcL-g- Contact the seller?
  6. Rob with the save! Can’t quite make out the last three digits Rob. When are you going to get a camera lens that will bend with the pages ? ken mine shown is from the drivers side but, according to the book is different number. I am on a mission now….
  7. Shoot, we’ll I did end up pulling the bracket (cause it made me happy) and the part number is the same as the one in the “b series” parts book If you have a parts book, I’d be curious if it was the same number. But like Jerry said, call rare parts or even DCM or Vic’s, they might have a parts truck in the yard
  8. I doubt you’re missing anything Ken. I was just trying to see it we could figure it out
  9. Sorry Ken, I guess my response to your add isn’t what you were looking for. good luck
  10. Did you call Vic? https://vicsdodgegarage.com/product/1939-47-dodge-truck-speedometer-and-gauge-cluster/
  11. Here’s is some comparative shopping for you https://www.ebay.com/itm/194218216634?hash=item2d384eccba:g:VN0AAOSwUvxg2DzE
  12. Lol, yeah buddy!?
  13. owners manual (page 50) for the B1F and B1H http://dodgepilothouseclub.org/know/Drivers_B1F/imgcol/index.htm calls for 375-425lbs for rear I would feel comfortable 450lbs for my HH (And yeah, I know the post was about the “front specs” but hey, same stud, same nut?)
  14. Oh, sorry about that. I’ve been taking a different approach. I been telling folks it’s canceled!!! Increases my chance for an award. ?
  15. Moderator, please remove this from his memory yeah, he forgets I have a “key to the ranch” LOL, if he keeps it up, I’ll show him busted! (?48dodger)
  16. Brad if you can’t find a reasonable source, i used the square washers only in the visible areas and the round washer under the floor mat and other hidden areas Maybe that could be more cost effective? and if we ever meet face to face, leave my floor mat alone ?
  17. Lol, thanks Paul! Hey, also thanks for the story about Lyme disease…. I’ve been telling Julie all day It is real and I need to check her ?
  18. Hi Paul, if it were me, I’m not sure I would look at the body mount unless I had too but, difficultly to me would be decided on weather or not the cab mount bolts and the bushings can be removed. Seems just about every cab I have dismantled, the drivers front bolt is “rust/welded” in place. if you can remove the bolts and bushings, seems like it is just a matter of loosing sheet metal, fuel tank connectors, floor board panels, steering column brackets, removing the doors etc. and then lifting the cab and front end up enough to slip the new rubber mounts in. Then aligning everything back together. Seems like a lot of effort for little reward. Remind me, for the ride, did you remove a leaf spring at some point? Have you replaced the shocks? for the noise, do you have a floor mat in the truck?
  19. My one ton doesn’t use a VA either but, if you don’t have the vacuum port on the intake manifold, you can use the port on the carb to help vacuum time the engine.
  20. I had luck using a wire wheel on my drill. it removed enough to make out the numbers…. I wrote them down and repainted the area Hey Oliver, 51,52 or 53 in the end …. Your still in the “cool club” for owning it ?
  21. Glad to see your back at it, I am sure you’ll get it ? hopefully the nut and pin don’t spin on you before you get the nut loose. I had that issue on the GA I last worked on. I ended up throwing everything back together and used the shoes to push against the drum. For me it held the anchor pin in place enough to zip the nut off. (and heat is your friend ?)
  22. My B3B is, right front and both rear bolts are 1/2” x 4” thread count 20 drivers front 5/8” x3” thread count 18 hope it helps ? https://vicsdodgegarage.com/product/48-53-dodge-truck-cab-bolts/
  23. Vic recommended using 3m high strength 90 for “Jute to mat” to me https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/cbgnawus1408/ Before he had the jute material available, I bought just the mat and laid it loose. the floor bolts punched right through the mat under the drivers foot.... Julie tells me I have a “heavy foot”. LOL, guess she is right ?
  24. Shoot, I don’t have the fancy sound dampening kit but, I bought a floor mat from Vic it came with the “jute” material ? https://vicsdodgegarage.com/product/48-53-dodge-1-2-ton-truck-pyramid-laser-cut-floor-mat/
