  1. If it is the bearing, call DCM and give Steve your generator number he will probably have the bearing. Mine went out in my one ton when I was in Minnesota “back to the 50’s” i blame Minnesota! LOL
  2. Rob, that would sure look good here in the PNW! Don’t you think? After the last couple Fire season years around here, we could have gone around snuffing out some flames..... I think you should consider converting “Big Red”.... think about it, retirement supplement ?
  3. Hey don’t beat yourself up, you weren’t even on this forum a week ago…. Must have joined for a reason ?
  4. Did you paint the rims yellow ?
  5. 1/2”x 14 NPT
  6. yeah, I was surprised also but, Rob helped me figure out the some were not equipped with boosters (as shown in the parts manual) and they (oddly enough) used the 1-1/4 and the different position hole on the brake pedal (shown in Rob’s special book ?) JSD’s booster being under the hood, led me to think there was a possibility someone added the booster and could have altered or exchanged the MC. from his little baggie I’d say it Looks like he is good to go. JSD, if it is “too far gone” they can re-sleeve it. The last one I had done, they didn’t have the 1-1/2” kit….. but your covered there
  7. No, I don’t think it’s undersized. you mentioned rebuilding the MC at some point. It appeared to me you like to do research….. just trying to help. ? if you do have the 1-1/2” MC, might be worth looking for a kit now. 1-1/2” not as common from what I’ve noticed ( of course, that could just be my area also)
  8. I like the work height on my flatbed I often use it as my mobile work bench ?
  9. It came off my B3GA…. I removed it and installed the one from my B4GA after I reworked it. I also switched the master cylinders… the B3GA is 1-1/4” with the B4GA was 1-1/2” (hint, hint, nudge ?)
  10. that is great the brake system has been gone through. From the video, I recognize that booster ?
  11. Take the old one out, bring the pieces to the BBQ in Lodi this April. I’ll bet someone can weld it for you…. I’d offer but, you wouldn’t be able to lift it afterwards ?
  12. On my B3, (Jimbob) I lucked out and pulled the tappet covers, rotated the motor and found the stuck valve…. I was able to work it back and forth through the spark plug hole without pulling the head. My other trucks, Not so much….. what is the wheel base on it? The photos without a bed, make it look like a 128” to me ( mine are all 152”) either way. What a great father/ son project! Make the most of it dad! ?
  13. Sweet! I like it a lot! ?how is the interior? If it was mine since there isn’t a bed, I’d cover the booster and rear axle if it’s gonna be outside….Until you get a bed. Those factory boosters rebuild parts can take some searching to find. I am with you Wally…. If I was closer I’d thumb wrestle you for them ??
  14. Kevin I did the same as Jerry on my “GA” I used a 6” vice and took it slow ?
  15. True, by his reference to his other thread, i figured he was trying to fire on #1 not #6. (Of course I don’t know if his dist. wires aren’t adjusted on the cap to fire at #1 ?)
  16. Must be an illusion, that second to last photo looks like it’s pointed at 4 o’clock not at 7 to me
  17. Hey Wally, on those 7.50 your running…( just kidding ?) on the 8.25x 20’s your running, do you ever get tire rubs up front when loaded? A couple times I had some weight in “Rob” (the HH), I thought I heard some rubbing up front when turning sharp. on Jimbob (B3GA) he has 7.50 up front and 8.25 in the rear.
  18. JSD, welcome to the forum! i don’t have a replacement answer but my B4GA has 7.5x20 on it. Wonder if 7.5 would be easier for you to locate? my HH has 8.25x 20 and my local tire shop gave me a price of $1700. For all 6 (mount and balance, tubes , flaps and stems) btw, photos when you get a chance ?
  19. This one is for “Rob”….. “Jimbob” sports the one you kindly rebuilt
  20. Jumping on the NOS bandwagon, found me a new two speed shift cable (1262101) and valve bracket (1188058) for my HH (A) Didn’t have the original box for the valve bracket but, I figured It won’t matter once it’s on the truck. ?
  21. Welcome James, After seeing Bill’s info Research, I wonder if the “26” refers to the wheelbase? Is it 126”? those square rear fenders look like the ones they started using in 53 in the US Have fun with it.
  22. Yeah, last year I wanted to park next to the cool trucks also… but, it was suggested I park next to the other parts trucks ?
  23. What a great photo! Man, I need to get my butt in gear for a calendar one of these years….. dibs on the bungee cord ?
  24. Lol, if that is what it takes to get you to the “Q” then YES, this is the last one!!! ? Yeah, time of year makes a difference to me for towing over the Rockies also imo, fly out this year, check out the event….. who knows after meeting us, you may be glad you didn’t bring the truck ?
  25. Haydenh, how is the parts search going? thought of you recently as I procured a OEM shift valve bracket fr my HH ?(trying to make him a “HHA”) An OEM shift cable is supposed to arrive tomorrow (I’ll have to make the shifter brackets)
