    I’ve always ran .035 on the plugs and .018-.020 on the points in my flatheads from 218 to 236. I use a vacuum gauge to help find the “sweet spot” on the timing…. Works for me ? The 218 In My b3b is a Plymouth engine good luck,

    Oregon has a 55 mph speed limit on the interstates in the metro area. I like it, it gives a better reaction time for those that are on their cell phone LOL I just came back from California towing, I don’t understand why the triple axels (trucks and towing) speed is 55 max! oh well

    sorry for showing this photo again I like my trailer. (20’ , 14k flatbed) made a handful of trips to CA to the BBQ a couple trips to WA to p/u a couple 1.5 toners (and visit Rob ?) and a trip to Minnesota for BTT50’s every trip I take about 30min or so to look it over and check the welds, brakes, lights etc. safety first, trailer users! And please, make sure your tow vehicle is equipped to handle the load. keep on truckin ?

    Back in he 80’s, (when I worked at the lube shops) we used 80w90 GL4 in the transmission and a 80w90 GL5 in the rear differentials. (Some vehicles used a gl1 and ATF in the transmissions etc.) now days there is more to choose from but, i use the 85w140 if it has the GL5 rating (in both gear boxes) As far as flavor..... that is a personal preference I would guess you are wanting to change the fluid because of the condensation buildup over time, not because it is due to be changed by mileage? Lol, by the way.... it is best to drive the truck and warm the fluid up before draining and refilling ? (just funin ya)

    I spied me some B1 door seal this weekend on the door itself and an example of the holes the doors have to except the product If steel comes through on the B3/4 seal, I wonder if they would pop the B1/2 seal as well….. definitely two different products

    Oh, we didn’t miss it brother LoL here are a few photos from the day a blast seeing everyone again! Mark parked Jim next to me this year as we were leaving I said “ thanks for parking next to me Jim” Jim looked at me and said “sure, I thought I was put in the “still in progress row””?     Lol, it cost me more than $80. When I went in 2019 i say, don’t write off this show so fast if you have never done it before, there were over 11000. (Eleven thousand registered minus Ram man lol) Pre 64 vehicles when we went...... rather awesome! Best part, I got to use granny low to get out of there ? I think the BBQ in Lodi (this weekend) is as close as i’ve seen.

    Ok, I was nerding out on these again ? this one fell off my B3hh when I replaced the lower panel door weather strip a few years ago I like how the well the part number and the letter “R” (for right side) confirm Stratos research. I also noticed the “dpcd” fainted in the upper left corner oh yeah, farting around with the b4, I have only the drivers side ? Lol, now I’m gonna take this truck to the bbq next week in CA, to show ggdad in person ?

    Lol, I’ve seen you do it like this as well If I remember correctly, We had a small fuel leak and a little smoke but, it sure was fun ?

    Probably only you and me.... seems like the B3 and 4’s are different from the B1’s and 2’s If they do reproduce them, I would be interested in 8 sets.... four sets for mine and next time I visit Mark, i’ll Be sticking them on his ?

    On my B3&4’s that one on the passenger side is a knock out for something. Don’t know about prior years but, if I had one missing on a B3 now, I’d cut a round disc, spot weld it in place and cover it with a floor mat

    Those stops look the same…. my 1/2 ton doesn’t have overloads at all. must be that spring option Merle mentioned.
