Ed, I wish my region would do some tours like y'all do in Minnesota. If no one decides to host our August meeting, I just might suggest a road trip to Carhenge and bringing a potluck lunch.

Knowing something is on the links page and just reading it isn't quite the same as having someone type their own version of it.... Its a more personable experience.... but I guess people aren't into that on this forum... Its kind of like going to the parts store and you ask the guy behind the desk a question instead he tells you to go look it up in the parts book..... where's the love?????

Many of us either have our own web site or a site on photobucket etc. with all kinds of info on their cars. On their profile in the Members section you'll also see a link to their site if they have one. For example just to name a few, Blueskies, Oldmopar, Don Coatney and many others have that. In fact, you don't even have to go to my profile to find the link. Just click on the link next to my signature at the bottom of each post I make. That will take you to the first page of the info on my car, then their are several other pages. In fact, if you were to print each page off of my site you'd probably end up with something like 50 to 80 pages. There's no way I'm going to put all that on the forum and burn up all the bandwidth, not to mention the time it would take me to do it, when you can just click on the link.

As for the parts guys at the stores, I love it when they either hand me a parts book to look for something, or they position the book so we can both look at it together. That way I can look for myself. If they don't show something exactly like original I can usually find a part that will work in the book and buy that. Done that on more than one occasion.

Thanks for the blue pictures Brendan and ed, I think that that color is beautiful and am planning to bring the car back to original, Yes Ed I do recognize the local it is about 5 miles from my home. You posted a few pictures of an old gas station that was privately owned on a different thread, where is that i think that i recognize it.

Here's an old Chrylser Plymouth dealership image that I colorized in PhotoShop. I chose Marine Blue for the color of the P15 parked out front. Enjoy!

With 1,453 posts (some meaningless dribble) I do believe I am an "active", and "interactive" member of the forum.

Got ya beat Shel. All of my posts are meaningless drivel.

NatesSedan, that is a really smooth job. I like it!

It was in that same area but I don't recall the specific location. The guy had quite the collection of cars and tractors. We toured the buildings took pictures next to his gas station and then got a tour of his place in his Dodge M37 and a hay wagon.

Nate--that's a sharp looking car. What running gear does it have?

Thanks Bob,

It sadly had the flathead removed and a 350/350 combo installed. It has a Ford 9" rear end. Suspension is pretty much stock though there are a couple of lowering blocks in there. I am running 15's in the front and 16's in the back.

In all honesty it is a ten footer. (with the exception of the interior which is really well done) I do love the thing and I am making headway but much of the work wasn't done right so as she sits she is a great SHORT distance driver. I am hoping to be able to take her across the country when I am done.
