Nice truck, the anticipation of the first drive after all the repairs are completed always kept me in the shop late into the night, despite the dismay of my girlfriend. She's

gone, but I still have my mopars. I look at it as a win / win situation!!

Here is my '42 WC "Job Rated" Pickup and according to the build sheet, it's 100% original!

Nice truck!

Define "100" original"?  I see several changes (cosmetic mostly)

Thanks. For what its worth, my definition of 100% original is all major assemblies and options mentioned on the build sheet, with serial numbers, are still on the vehicle. That would be engine, transmission, rear end, oil filter, air cleaner, ID plate and VIN. Naturally it does not include things like the mirrors, wheels, and other things which folks have taken liberties with.

My apologies if this does not make a 100% original vehicle and actually I'm sure it does not. But even so, its amazing to have the build sheet and to see all of the major assemblies serial numbers match it.   :)

So what about if a person has the ability to fabricate a hard to find part to make it look like an original part, that does not give them the right to claim it as original.  Or if one uses stainless brake lines because it would have been better than original that would  make his truck still be original.  This is why I do what I want on my trucks and if you don't like it, don't look!!

By the way, awesome truck

with all the rain we've had, my parts trucks have sunk a little in the black dirt...as nature appears to grasp these beasts in order to drag'm under, some of the varmints are enjoying their artistic sanctuary

it ain't too fancy, but I transplanted the patch of buffalo grass a few hunnert feet away & filled the hole it left with some good road base & crushed limestone...that'll give me a li'l room to maneuver year'round

So just for my information, because I really don't have a clue, when you say  "I see several changes (cosmetic mostly)" could you please let me know what they are?

Besides the wheels and tinted glass...

Thanks!

The biggest 2 things are see are the wrong front bumper and that filler panel under the tailgate. Little other stuff mostly with the bed. Like not painting the wood. Don't worry mine's not painted either!
