I have a low side box. attached is the info I found on the internet. 1953-1955 SHORT BEDS Series: 1953 - B-4, 1954 - C-1, 1955 - C-1 & C-3. New fender introduced. This fender would be used until the stepside beds were dropped from production in 1985. Boxes are now 2" shorter than previous years at 76-1/8" inside length starting in 1953. This affects the bed wood, bed strips, and angle strips and bedsides. New wood floor layout with seven bed strips and eight wood boards. Pine wood was now used instead of oak. Bed strip and angle strip hole patterns changed slightly between 1954 and 1955. Bedsides are still angled outward at the top. "Low side" and "high side" boxes are both available with the "low side" box standard equipment. Tailgates and front panels for both boxes remain unchanged from 1950-1952.

Did you come up with a good working solution on the cooling? I am unsure wether to go electric or mechanical on the fan.

This is what my son wanted my 52 for. He didn't have the money so I bought it. Not my plan for it but looks cool.

Considering selling my flathead
Sparky52Dodge replied to Sparky52Dodge's topic in Mopar Flathead Truck Forum
I was told it ran 2 years ago. Never heard it run. I assume probably higher miles but complete engine and trans. Yes 218 original 52 engine and trans. -

Did you leave the fender wells off? I don't see the side panels. Clean installation. Any problem getting to the radiator cap? -

I'm in the beginning stages of doing a 360 in my 52 pilothouse. I am interested to know what issues I face in doing this -
I am thinking of selling my running flathead 6 and 4 spd. If I decided to sell it what would be a reasonable price? All linkage and parts to install in another truck would be included. See my profile for pics.
