Boy, I'm sure glad this wasn't based on a Mopar!

I can certainly see where this statement comes from:

"Car show winner. Fun to drive. A hard to find and very rare car"  I agree that I have never seen anything like it before.  Although I have lead a sheltered life.

It does come with the RARE VINTAGE NOS faux zebra covered bench seat.

Show winner...what were they judging...MOST RUST or WORSE TRIM...even Bob T. could not mess up a car that bad...that is the whole objective behind a rat rod...drive something that has more junk attached than needed, practical or of good taste..bizarro is operative word here...best part about the rat rods..they make any conservative old car look pristine...

and people wonder why I hate "rat rods"....

Got that right. It's sitting on a difference frame and drivetrain as stated in the ad. More garbage on it than at the local dump. That could have been a nicely done car as those two door hardtops are in demand. That one is rusty but then so are a lot of old cars that get restored. Why would anyone spend the time, energy, and money to build a piece of crap like that?? Rat rods, to me, give the old car hobby a bad name.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"...not mine or most (ok, maybe all) here, but someone's...."different strokes for different folks", etc. The list of cliches' is endless.

our most favored American.....Stupid is as Stupid does..

while I cannot justify their approach I can understand it..they seem to want to belong with the old car crowd and also to the hot rod builders at the same time but with no real skilled labor or money invested..and if I am wrong, then that just opens the door for yet another debate..

I was raised to see the good in things, and I can see potential in that chicken cage.

$180 / ton?

Interestingly, that's actually cheaper than the chicken manure, which is about $200 / ton.

So we know where the long-term business goals should actually lie.
