deathbound Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 Wow, thanks for all the well wishes and words of encouragement! When I picked up my gal on our first date in my truck, she drooled and said "I wanna drive it!!" I knew right then.... Sort of similar story....my wife & I met on a blind double date, but, our first real date was a week later. I picked her up on my Panhead (rigid frame), lick-n-stick back seat pad on the rear fender & took her to an Friday night motorcycle swap meet, then dinner, THEN met her mom. Been 17 years & still good, though she doesn't ride on the Panhead anymore. Good Luck! 2 Quote

Mad as hell until I told her it had a 460 in it. Still in love after 27 years. 3 Quote
52b3b Joe Posted August 22, 2014 Report Posted August 22, 2014 Well, I've been keeping an eye on flights, and with my work schedule and my remaining half day of vacation at work, I don't think I can make it. It would also be hard to spend the cash with everything going on right now too. I hate to say it, but I won't be able to make it... One day I will make it out there for a BBQ... Hopefully in a couple years once everything settles down for me. Tim, ya better have a drink for me at the BBQ! 1 Quote

We all met up last Saturday at Lodi Brewing Co in downtown Lodi and enjoyed a good round of beer, burgers, pizza, and laughs. My Fiancé and I, her friend, Tim, brother John, and Tim's son and daughter all came out. Tim picked up the tab too...THANKS AGAIN BROTHA!!! What a generous guy, I'll tell ya! (I'll do extra mowing for you next April...lol) I was trying to get pics transferred off of my phone but not having any luck :-( Will keep trying! See ya next weekend! Quote
Jim Shepard Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 Wanted to be there but had another engagement in the evening and, when it became apparent this was not going to be a "nooner," I had to beg off. Maybe next time... Quote
Todd B Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 "Nooner" must mean something different to you west coast guys than the guys from the midwest 3 Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 nooner..usually is referred to as something you can knock out in your lunch hour..business or pleasure.. Quote
Don Coatney Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 Hum, knock being the key word I have heard other variations or directions. Quote
Brent B3B Posted October 1, 2014 Report Posted October 1, 2014 a nooner on the west coast is taking a brake, from the midwest meaning! Bow chicka, wowwow! 1 Quote
