1940plymouth Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 It is a cold, wet Sunday morning here in the Catskills, thought I would share some of my favorite photos that I took this past year. Hope you all don't mind, plus it would be nice to see the photos that you all took over the course of this past year that you enjoyed. Thanks, Bob Quote
Robert Horne Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 We always enjoy your photos Bob.... Quote
bamfordsgarage Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Great idea for a thread. My favourites are from March when we had that great run up to the far north. Quote
RobertKB Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Although it is not a flathead, or even a Mopar, this is my favourite picture this year. My wife and I took out the '63 Ford Fairlane 500 and turned the famous 100,000 miles on it. Wish the weather was as nice now! I also like this one of my '51 Big Butt waiting to be hauled home after sitting in a farmer's field for 20+ years. It somehow managed not to have its curved rear window shot out! Let's see others' favourite pictures of their cars or car related activities. Quote
Ed Griffin Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 I enjoyed the weather change colors that have tried to engulf the other two Dodge sedans I have parked in the back. Quote
DCurrent Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Great idea for a thread! I have attached a photo of my kids with the 48 Plymouth. I hope i did it right! Eva is my girl age 3 and Reece age 8. I have really cherished the time with them today and yesterday after the awful tragedy in Connecticut. Quote
busycoupe Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 In March I visited a local antique store that had a replica of an old country store. The first 2 pics are from March.. In July a "gustnado" passed through the area and when I went back in Nov. for some fall shots I was surprised at how it had changed. In the last picture you can see that the porch roof and several signs are missing, as well as a large tree behind the building. Dave Quote

frankieflathead Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 (edited) Nothing goes together like old cars and covered bridges Bob, and that Far North run looks like an expedition worthy of Admiral Byrd, Bam! Here are a couple more of my D24..... Edited December 16, 2012 by frankieflathead Quote
Young Ed Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Stopped to finally get a shot of this cool old gas station that we pass on our way to the in-laws. This is the way there-we were being trailered on the way back I only caught the first piece of our plymouth clubs annual fall tour but managed to take this one I think this one speaks for itself. frankieflathead Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 Prob'ly where I first got bit by the bug. Note the characteristically wrinkled right rear fender. Quote

TennesseeVol51 Posted December 16, 2012 Report Posted December 16, 2012 (edited) Great pics everyone---It's nice to put some faces with names. I really like seeing the cars out on the road and it makes me want to get mine finished even more. Young Ed that is a fine looking littlun' Just wait for the terrible Two's:D I have 5 kids 3 boys and 2 girls ages 20,17,13,8 and 4 It is a wonder my wife has not went crazy!! I really like the 2 pics of your car one in color and the other in black and white it is like 2 totally different cars---It kind of makes you think about the Jamey Johnson song "You Should Have Seen it in Color" Would'nt it be cool to see all the old car and family pics in color? 40phil41 Posted December 17, 2012 Report Posted December 17, 2012 I didn't have much time to drive my '40 this year but when I lost my storage spot in October I took a very nice drive through country roads back to my house. Here are a few photos. Can't wait to get it back out in the spring. Phil Quote
Roger the Dodger Posted December 18, 2012 Report Posted December 18, 2012 This is my favorite. On a cruise to this Marina for lunch. Merry Christmas to you all from Downunder. Roger. Quote
frankieflathead Posted December 19, 2012 Report Posted December 19, 2012 Some really great pix, all. Those shots of your '40 with the fall foliage are really neat, Phil. And I really envy your being able to drive your beautiful D23 (?) down the marina all year 'round, Roger. Looks very inviting. Quote
