ggdad1951
First show after all the parts on. Went to Mopars In the Park and scored a plaque! I'll post some pics over on the "Announcements" tab under the Mopars in the Park thread. and the rearranged wall in the garage.
Desotodav
Well done to both yourself and FEF Mark. The old boy scrubbed up alright (FEF that is)! Well deserved I reckon!
pflaming
'ggd': Great grand Dad would be proud. That is a great looking truck. Been following you ever since you hauled it home on that trailer. You've earned the right to be proud. Paul

ggdad1951
long day prepping for Back to the 50's. I've got MOST of the buffing compound off, I seriously think it turns to concrete if it sits too long. I also had my roll down windows urethaned into the channels. So that means I FINALLY have roll down windows, slight hitch in the passenger one, but it goes all the way if you give it a nudge. Part of the glory of an old vehicle. All that meant I got to get the doors "complete"! Techinically all that is left is figuring out the horn issue, get the dome light cut in and wired, place the radio delete plate, install hood ornament ,put the center headliner screw in and lastly get the arm rests redone and installed. Been a LONG day! Odd I'm so close to "done", but I don't feel it.....
Merle Coggins
It's a marathon, not a sprint, Mark. I've had my truck "finished" for about 5 years now, and I'm still finding projects to tinker with. Merle
Desotodav
I was thinking the same Merle. My blue truck has been registered for almost 2 years now but still has things that need doing. Are they ever really 'finished'? The old FEF is looking good Mark! Good job on the windows mate - they can be a bit fiddly,
John-T-53
Wow, that interior looks amazing. I like the stitch pattern on the door panels, and looks like you've got chrome escutcheons at the door lever / window cranks? Top notch! Todd B
Very nice Mark, How are you enjoying the horn ring? I am very close to taking mine off. I am so used to leaning on the steering wheel and i constantly bump that dam ring. Your truck looks amazing! Are you coming to Merles? ggdad1951
Todd, sadly I still haven't had time to trouble shoot the horn issue, I plan to do that next week. I plan on making the shindig, but not in FEF. Edited June 18, 2013 by ggdad1951

Desotodav
Cool video Mark. I'm glad that it finally worked out for you. I recently mounted the 6v dual horns in my truck. I'll have to see if I can post a video for you. I'm almost finished building a 12v dual-horn set now for the next truck (53 Aussie Dodge coupe truck). ggdad1951
now that the new product from work has launched globally I can share this. FEF was used in a video for work for the new product we launched to show how durable the product is. Marketing took a liberty in the weight of the truck...more of a curb weight than a carrying capacity.... http://s1178.photobucket.com/user/ggdad1951/media/RoadkillEddieWeb_zps3a23f15a.mp4.html
Dave72dt
Should have had a pic of the truck on the front of the product instead of the car. Is that the official promo video or the sales pitch video?
ggdad1951
sales pitch/internal video....the cover is one of our "showroom samples" that we have for our dealers. I want to make an old timey silent movie video complete with cheezy piano music and word cards and evil top hatted long mustached villian to make it more customer friendly...but that's marketing's dime.
