Haven't heard from you in a long time Bill. Sorry to hear about the accident. Wanted to let you know the OD is still going strong and I continue to enjoy it.

Was waving to someone and looking at them instead of where I was going. Guess what, when I looked foward there was a car stopped in front of me. My dumb a$$ falt. Insurance co. totaled the car so its gone. Insurance guy said he could repair it for around $9000 but felt it wouldn't be as nice as I had it so they paid me off which was a little more. Sneed is a great co to work with. Hope they don't cancel me as my son had a clam about a year agowhich I was also happy with the way they handled it.

That sucks. My crash was at least 1/2 my fault too. I hope someone else buys your car and gets it back on the road. It certainly was fixable.

look like it missed the bumper entirely and the grillhood and left fender absorbed most of the impact..i woul venture to guess the frame and suspension is unaltered..at best a dented fan blade to the eingine..fo course I see no drivers side view of the fender and how much it may have been pushed into the cowl/A-post..odds are this may have been the determining factor on the "total"...good thing waving your hand does not fall under the new "texting rules"

Thats just plain awful. Sickening. I'm glad you weren't hurt physicaly. Mentally, thats a killer. I feel bad for you. Makes me wanna cry. It wouldn't be so bad if it were my car since its not all that nice anyway. But yours is a beauty. Ugh.

That car will most likely be back on the road. Someone will fix it as the damage kinda looks high and some what soft. Too bad about your wreck.

I offered to buy it back (which I would like to) but when they gave me a price of $5000.00 I had to let it go. I will bid on it if I find out when and where they auction it.

I hope you will be able to. You deserve a crack at it....as to when and where..... Stay on it ! Maybe if you offered them 3.5K now they would want to be DONE with it.

Hate to see pics of such a nice car in this shape, hope you find anthor you like just as well as this one or more.

Hmm our Ins companies will usually give you first dibs on buying the car back usually at salvage value. Maybe the laws are different state to state. It certainly seems ther is only sheetmetal damage there which although costly due to scarcity of parts should be easy to fix.

I was bummed when an unlicensed driver ran a stop sign and hit the left front of PLYWOOD; however I have gotten over the mental part of being upset because my car is repaired and in better shape than before the crash. I hope you are getting past the self blaming stage and getting past your own "human error" experience. I am glad to hear you weren't hurt, right?
