tysouthwick Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Right now its raining cats and dogs here in st george which means its probably snowing about 15 miles north... Does that count?! Quote
olddodgeguy Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Well, we had a thunderstorm here in Reno yesterday evening. Except it wasn't rain everywhere. It was actually snow in some areas!!! Drove through about a 1/2 inch on my way to our Mopar club meeting. It was mostly gone on the way home. Weird. Mike Quote
HanksB3B Posted October 6, 2010 Author Report Posted October 6, 2010 (edited) reported 3 inches yesterday. But there's been a few other sightings. Maybe we should chane the winner to the first person to attach a picture of their truck in the snow...? (from this year)... Hank Edited October 6, 2010 by HanksB3B Quote
HanksB3B Posted October 6, 2010 Author Report Posted October 6, 2010 Is that from this year? Hank Quote

HanksB3B Posted October 6, 2010 Author Report Posted October 6, 2010 ultimately the joke will be on you. (and also unfortunately on my beautiful, hardworking daughter and single mother of 3, Jennifer who drives 1-1/2 hours each way to and from work in Wisconsin) As far as Minnesota is concerned, I'd be driving top-down to San Diego and talking to Bruce Horkey in Windom Mn. "Hello Bruce, How' my truck bed coming along...oh and I can't find my panel switch. Do you happen to have one? "Yes Hank I do but you'll have to wait a few days or at least till it clears, right now it's -60 with the wind chill factor and I can't really see the truck through the white out...and I won't know how much snow I'll have to dig through to get it for you.." I love the snow, but maybe it's because I live where it isn't, Hank Quote
Dave72dt Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 I don't mind a little of it but I've worked in it, driven in it enough to not really enjoy it and yes it's cold. It's only a little better than the aftermath - MUD. That's only because you can move snow. Quote
Young Ed Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 AH but Hank I can drive down to Windom and meet Bruce in person and just pick up my purchases if I chose. Actually I have met Bruce but he was here in the twin cities for a car show. Quote
ggdad1951 Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 I don't mind a little of it but I've worked in it, driven in it enough to not really enjoy it and yes it's cold.
