Oldguy48 Posted July 28, 2010 Report Posted July 28, 2010 Tomorrow is my last offical day of work. So today I bought a caddy. Don, Congratulations to you. And coincidentally, tomorrow is my last day at work also. Never thought I'd see retirement, but it's here in a relatively few hours. I would guess that both of us will have a lot more time to spend wrenching in the garage. And I can't wait. Quote

I have been threatening to retire since the economy melted down a couple years ago, but I honestly don't know what I would do with myself. I can't afford to keep buying old cars and I don't have a dog. Quote

You will find something to do, or everyone else will find it for you! Enjoy life on your own time for a change. I've been doing it for seven years now and it just keeps getting better. Welcome to the real life. You earned it. Quote
Mark Haymond Posted July 28, 2010 Report Posted July 28, 2010 Welcome to the club, Don. You understand of course, after you are retired you are 'posed to drive yer caddy in the fast lane at a steady 50 mph, as if you are the only one on the road. Enjoy. Quote
