  1. 700 pounds of flagstone.... piece of cake.
  2. I gots me mine! So if the truck takes a dump in route this year, I can tell the tow truck driver all about my trophy.
  3. Do the rear windows on the club coup roll down? I’m wondering if it’s similar to the two door sedan
  4. I received my valves and guides from Terrill machine today. I want to understand counter-bore up vs counter-bore down. I received a box of intake and exhaust guides. What’s the diff. and how are they installed. They all look identical to me. Explain!
  5. Adrian I noticed you live in Blaye, France. I look forward to seeing photos of that Chrysler among the rolling vineyards and maybe the citadel. That is an elegant car!
  6. Sometimes it takes a little pressure to free the little keepers up. Shove a rag in the holes so they don’t fall into the pan. And a magnet comes in handy
  7. Good question. I think maybe I’ll use the small hole opposite the big hole

    Sounds like an adventure
  11. The right one might be slightly smaller. But, I can’t tell with my eyes.
  12. Does it make a difference which small hole is used?
  13. Looks like Devils Postpile in the background.
  14. Tepui makes a cool pop-up tent for cars and trucks. A little pricey though.
  15. Reg. I don’t think he has much of an online presence. I couldn’t find much besides an address and phone number. Feltz Terrill Terrill Machine De Leon TX 254-893-2610 He was easy talk with and is very knowledgeable. Give him a call.
  16. A little update on parts suppliers. Made a purchase order from Egge about 3 weeks ago. They were still waiting on valves and guides. Apperently they get them from Kanter and it would be another week. Frustrated, I called Terrill Machine. He has everything for our flatheads in stock and shipped that day... and it’s cheaper.
  17. I have been tackling the issue of parts for the last couple of weeks for my 230 build. My machinist is fine with me sourcing parts. He was upfront with me to the fact that when they source the parts, they usually do a 30% mark-up. I started with VPW and worked my way through the suppliers on line. VPW seemed to be the most expensive. I found Egge to have the cheapest prices. ( Terrell machine was comparable). I went to Oldmopar for water tube, engine mounts and welsh plugs. Prices vary with individual parts, so you don’t have to order the “kit”. You can pick and choose parts and then order cheaper individual parts from somewhere else. Be sure to ask if the part is in stock, which will delay your order being shipped. I believe these shops reach out to other suppliers to complete their kits and they don’t always have the parts in hand.Of course, the more individual orders you have, the higher your shipping cost. A few things to think about.
  18. Paul. That’s a good look’n cat. I see a bit of a resemblance. Maybe it’s the ear hair
  19. Buy a quality engine leveler too. Invite a buddy over to help. Will make the job much easier. Two things I should have done.
  20. Reg Evens has them.
  21. I would pull the transmission. Even if it is possible to yank it all out together, it will save you the stress of trying to get the motor up and over the doghouse without scratching up the fire wall all up. ....Just my two cents
  22. This is the gasket kit I ordered through Napa.
